The Fighter The Monk The Paladin The Shaman Prestige Classes The Black Lotus The Burner The Disciple of Lao Tsai The Hunter of Sri'Baxa The Juggernaut The Legionnaire of Athos The Sheenhunter The Sheenslayer The Sheenlord The Son of Thunder | In this world, there is little to no magic and there are no gods. The only way to be able to cast spells is through spirits. For this reason the cleric and druid have been replaced by the spirit invoking shaman. (Rangers also get their spells from spirits. But they can only work with spirits of nature and spirits of animals. Their bond with their spirits is not as close as with the shaman. They revere the spirits, they don't have a personal relationship with them.) Psionics are available but are not a common thing. Classes that remain unmodified will not be discussed here. The classes that use arcane magic are not available as PC classes (bard, sorcerer, wizard). The classes that have changed a little bit are the monk, the paladin and the fighter: The monk has been adjusted to fit the setting. The paladin has changed a bit. He doesn't seek out a god, but instead bonds with a spirit to gain his paladinlike powers. The fighter has been adapted to desert life. The following Prestige Classes (and the source) are also available: Gladiator (S&F) Lasher (S&F) Master of Chains (S&F) Metamind (Psi HB) Pyrokineticist (Psi HB) Red Avenger (S&F) Shadowdancer (DMG) Soulknife (Psi HB) Tribal Protector (S&F) |
