Poetic...
A Poem from a Reader
Ahh but love...
Not love as real,
But love you feel.
Passed over once,
And seen again.
No roses sweet,
To new days greet.
Emotions found new,
In a burning heart.
Not first sight's folly,
Or Flirtation's volley.
A cool love born,
Amid frustration's scorn.
No emotion so true,
No feeling so blue.
Never found words,
For just what I feel.
Never had a heart,
For feelings so real.
Hate and loathing burned hot,
While withering me to naught.
My soul was dead so,
Letting life go...
Until the day of the fire,
In the Phoenix' pyre.
Leaving me dead in my birth,
Alive within dearth.
Alone, Unseen, Unheard, I stood,
To reach out to touch me nothing could.
Ahh, but love...
