A bunch of stuff! Sengoku
continues - Adventure 18 is finished. Also the character
sheet for Chinese
Gangsters appears, and new Sengoku
character art. Several of the older Sengoku adventures
have been expanded and corrected (thanks for the feedback,
guys!) There is also new art in the Character
Archive.

continues apace - Adventure 17 appears, and the end is in
sight for the campaign. I had NO IDEA it was going to expand
like this! Only three more adventures to go...

A big update! The Battlefleet
Gothic pages have arrived, with maps and rules for our
Battlefleet Gothic campaign, plus illustrated battle
reports. Adventure 14 for Sengoku
has finally been finished, and as well, two download-n-print
sheets of Cardboard
Samurai to help you run mass combats.

Doom! There is
also a new page, with plenty of new art, for translating
Runequest to Hero system and vice versa. Sengoku
has gotten a new lease on life, with a new cast of
characters, NPCs and new fiction, which will shed light on
parts of the Sengoku universe not previously explored.

The first new Sengoku
adventure in a long time has been posted: Falling Leaf
Kwoon. Now that I am back to writing Japanalia, I will try
to thrash out another few Sengoku adventures to satisfy the
hungry masses. The rules for mass
combat for the Hero system were posted, and the
character
archive got some new characters translated to Hero
system from the Runequest game I am playing in - with (if I
do say so myself) some cool character art

What's new is that my old website has evolved into
Mark's Astounding CyberEmpire O'
Doom! - which is one way of saying that I outgrew
my space in a big way. So I have split the various web stuff
I do into separate sites. This site remains the central
node, but when you click on a link to a file stored on
another server, it will open into a new window, so you can
close it and go back to what you were reading or browse
further as you feel inclined. By and large the changes
should be largely invisible to you, but believe me, there's
been plenty of work done! Anyway, that has jumped my web
space from 25 megs to over 100, so that should hold me for a
while. I've also dumped a lot of old stuff and replaced it
with new, so although all the links within the pages should
work, some links from this page will no longer function.

Two new pieces of Fantasy art - Cool
Axe Barbarian and Dragon
and Dragonship grace the Bryce art section. I haven't
posted any art for a long time because I was dissatisfied
with my lack of skill. Well, I'm still dissatisfied, but at
least these are moving in the right direction

Big changes in the gaming
section - all the adventures have disappeared. They're
not actually gone, merely moved off to an anonymous page so
that GMs can still access them, but players can use the rest
of the site without being tempted. If you're a GM, just
email me to get
the new addresses.

I've been learning about texture mapping and working on
my HTML. You can see the results of both on Kenji Izuhara's
new
character sheet. There's also new character art for
Amhara
and Chandara
the Golden Also, a whole new section joins the Hero
Gaming Stuff. It's Occasional
Action Theatre! - a place for individual adventures
suitable for an evening's entertainment with a strong bias
towards Hong Kong Action movies. Adventures come with maps,
cut-out counters and character and NPC sheets with plenty of
new art.

Not a lot new this upload. I've been spending some time
working on my art-related skills - you can go and look at
the new character portraits of Iron
Ox and Poison
Adder to see if it was time well spent. I've also
corrected some maths errors in the Random
Fantasy Character Generator (thanks, Brian!). I have
joined the Sengoku
web ring, and to celebrate have completely redone the
Sengoku section of the site, fixing broken stuff, cleaning
up HTML (it should load faster now) and making it look a bit
closer to my original conception. And there's more Sengoku
art to follow!

Well, it's been a long time since the last update, but
I've been away - on holiday and on business - for 6 weeks
out of the last three months, and this is a huge update -
the first of the countries from Gothick
Empires - the Martic
League , complete with maps, city- and building-plans,
new characters and descriptions - laws, customs, pictures,
adventures and more. In addition a number of new creatures
found their way into the Bestiary.
The Random
Fantasy Character Generator got a complete overhaul to
make it faster to use, add some new options and change the
balance of characters produced a little. I've fixed all the
broken external links (again) and added about 200 new ones.
And no update would be complete without the addition of new
spells to the Grimoire.
