Here's where I keep you informed of any changes I've made since you were last here...
Website initiated 6th May '97
Last updated 17th March '99
2 months (or more) of updates are kept on this page
17th March - Touched up all the existing hexes on my Hucksters & Hexes page so that they use the "correct" Mental Trait die types as stated in the Hucksters & Hexes book (ie Smarts=Illusions, Spirit=Magical Energy etc) as well as actually putting them into alphabetical order (why didn't I do this before? Duh!!) I've also, with the benefit of playtesting, made them more balanced. Some have a bit more kick whilst others have been toned down a little, and those that had ridiculously high wind costs have been made a little more huckster-friendly.
What I need now are submissions for Thaumaturgical Hexes, y'know, like the ones from City O' Gloom that the Metal Mages use. It would round off my Hucksters & Hexes section nicely if I could put up a dozen or so new conjurings on this theme. I have a few ideas of my own but I'm in need of more! If you've got any ideas at all then send 'em in to Marshal Lambert!
16th March - 20 or so new Tricks added to the Hucksters & Hexes section. Take a look on that page at a sample of how the Big Index will work from now on. I'll add the relevant info onto the individual sections. If you want to see the hexes from around the net look at my own hex page. if you're wanting to look up shamanic favours then look at my shaman page and so forth. The Hucksters & Hexes page is an example of how this will work. Let me know what you think. (I'll still be keeping the origianl Big index how it is now but I won't update it anymore, I'll add info onto the relevant page instead)
1st March - Added in a new page to the Huckster section - Hexslinger Hexes: 10 new hexes for the Hexslinger character class.
23rd February - Put up some new villains, The Three Stroms, on the Heroes & Villains page. Also joined the Deadlands listserve, at last. Great stuff.
16th February - Added in a few more links to some of the better sites on the Weird West Express and completed town section of Jonah Hex adventure. My Email server is down at the moment and I can't read any new incoming mail, nor send emails. Emails sent to me are recieved fine it's just that I can't read them. My University server has been down a few days now and I'm not sure when it's going to be fixed - so I just thought I'd let all those waiting for a reply know I haven't forgotten them (I know I've got emails from Jay Anstiss, Scott Hacker, Brian Vogel, Ray Johnson and a few others so I'll get back to you soon!)
15th February - Finished the adventure Express Train to Hell, based upon an idea sent in by John Pope of Newcastle, UK, and it is now accesible through the adventures page. My posse haven't quite finished playing the adventure howevere so the account of their exploits is incomplete. The Jonah Hex adventure is missing the Town section as I lost my copy of the graphic novel a few weeks ago. It has since been found and this section will be completed in a few days.
5th February - Finished the Posse's Account for the Jonah Hex adventure. Both my adventures have also had a link to each individual chapter added to their main pages, this should make them a little easier to navigate.
2nd February - Updated the Big Index, it's now fully up to date. Playtesting "Express Train to Hell" adventure for future appearance on site. Going well so far. No-one dead yet. Heh heh heh...
1st February - I'm back now after my extended Christmas break and have tied up all the loose ends that have kept me away from my website. Espect more frequent updates now that I have more free time on my hands! I've started the posse's journal of the Jonah Hex adventure and have added a link to the Good, the Bad, and the Brash website on my Links page. There's also a whole slew of new webpages on the Weird West Express, so go and check them out too! (More often than not they appear directly after my own website on the index, the newest being first after my own, the second newest being next etc). I'm also working on another new adventure in collaboration with another Marshal out there, this should be up on my site a lot sooner than the Jonah Hex adventure as I have more time on my hands this time round!
9th December - Final Chapter of Jonah Hex adventure put in place, only the details of Mud Creek left to go. Also updated the page of the Liverpool Posse, who playtested the Jonah Hex adventure (we're wrapping it up tonight) and their account of how they got on will appear soon
7th December - Added 5th chapter of Jonah Hex adventure
I'm on the lookout for more submissions again to put up on my site starting January next year (I'm off the computer over the xmas holiday), if you have any original material, be it hexes/npc's/relics whatever, then send it in via email and I'll be glad to put it up on my site. If you have any Hell On Earth submissions then fellow Web-Marshal Jay Anstiss at "The Last Stop On the Trail" website is taking submissions for his new Hell On earth website which is looking good so far. To send him any submissions just drop him an email and he'll be more than glad to put up your npc's/psyker powers/adventure ideas or whatever!
2nd December - 2 more chapters in the Jonah Hex adventure put up. My posse will finish the last two chapters off in their next game session so they will appear pretty soon, I'll also put up their account of how they got on when it's all over and the smoke clears.
19th November - Finished shuffling about the Here There Be Vampires! adventure to match the Jonah Hex adventure format, it should be easier to navigate now and all the problems and errors have been amended. If you still spot any mistakes then drop me a line. You may have also noticed that I've changed the front page a little - this is for no other reason than shear boredom...
18th November - I'm changing the format of the Here There Be Vampires adventure so that it's easier to navigate, as well as ironing out the typos and other errors. I'm halfway through at the moment so if you're having problems with the adventure pages then this is the reason!
