Booster Gold was a football player in the far future who accepted a bribe
and lost everything. Determined to make good, he stole several items from a museum and,
using Rip Carter's Time Machine. travelled back to the present day. He then set himself up
as a hero and became quite popular. He became a member of the Justice League and was known
for clowning around with the Blue Beetle. During the time of
the Millenium, it was revealed that he was one of the chosen. He refused the honor, even
though the Manhunters stripped him of all his wealth. Since then, he has been bumming
around with the Justice League. He lost his arm in their fight with the Overmaster but, in
recent developments, regained it, as the latent power of being one of the chosen of the
Millenium kicked in. |
