| Rex Tyler was a chemist working on a miracle drug when he
discovered Miraclo. After doing some initial tests, he found that it augmented strength,
speed, and stamina to superhuman levels. He then started helping people in need as the Man
of the Hour. A few years later, he donned the Hourman costume and went public as a
superhero. He was a member of the original Freedom Fighters, the Justice Society, and the
All-Star Squadron. In later years, he internalized the powers that the drug gave him and
only needed to concentrate to gain his powers for an hour. |
