| Steve Dayton was a successful businessman, the third wealthiest person in
the world. He met and fell in love with Rita Farr, otherwise
known as Elasti-Girl. He devised a helmet that gave him amazing mental powers in order to
adventure with her and, together, they adopted Garfield Logan.
It seemed idyllic. Then, Rita and all her friends in the Doom Patrol died. Or so it
seemed. In truth, all of the Doom Patrol but Rita survived. Steve was never quite the same
after that and became driven, going insane at least once. He has since crawled back from
the pit and put his life together. |
