| John Henry Irons was a talented engineer that designed weapons.
Eventually, he came up with the Toastmaster 2000. It wasn't until he saw the weapon tested
in the field that the enormity of what he had done hit him. He then destroyed all of his
notes and disappeared, moving to Metropolis. It was there that Superman
saved his life and told him to make something of himself. So, when Superman died, he did.
He created a suit of armor and named himself the Man of Steel. He fought the good fight
and, upon Superman's return, called himself Steel. |
