Profile: Before Walker ever came to Anime Gaming, he had a long and checkered career to begin with. During these several missions, he'd become involved with the Jurai and became an Earth official between the two planets, despite Earth's majority lack of participation in a universal affair (or even knowledge of!). Soon to follow came the Galaxy Police, who at first were persistent testers of Walker, and then became more allies when they offered Walker the job. The two in question were Chief and his brother. Contrary to popular belief, Chief is not named as such because of his rank, but rather because of his native american heritage, which he clings to no matter what.
Eventually, Walker went to Anime Gaming after initially getting away from villain Jasson, and made the UGoI with people like Shai and Rahan. Then at the end of 1998, Walker got message from Chief telling him of their enemy's resurface at last. Leaving to finish the war he started and bring justice, and end, to his responsibilities as an officer of the Galaxy. In the final bout, Chief was a highly unforseen assistance to Walker and Elranda, and they managed to do away with their opponent, bringing his empire down to remnants and (supposedly) destroying the enemy once and for all. As reward, even as Walker resigned from the GPD, he brought Chief back home with him to be inducted into the UGoI officially.
Chief's involvement with the UGoI was minimal, however. Although he was the first to sign onto the ESF even before the merger, because of his duties as a police officer, he was often assigned in places too far away for him to make too many visits, although visit he tried. In 2001, however, all that came to an end. Discovering Jasson not only survived his attack, but had managed to secretly create an underworld empire to grow back into power, he contacted Walker Akero to warn him. Unfortunately because of this, it also warned the enemies of where Walker had gone. Walker once more left his home land to do away with his enemies, summoning his new family of Renki', Rahan, and Joesph to come help them.
But they were far off, yet. So turning to their cursed forms (Walker as a girl, Chief as a panda), they went under the radar to avoid their enemy's detection in order to collect allies in order to face them down, as all their old allies were mostly killed off in the last war. They managed to have several misadventures with a ship captain and his crew before eventually finding Chief's brother, Elranda Llelyn, and Eimin Gutaika, and coming to confrontation with Jasson and his forces. It was almost too late and they were losing. Death was upon them. Then, that's when hope arrived in Renki' Sar Kane and his son Joesph. Rahan could not make it, for reasons unknown, but they brought additionally Mercy and her daughter Kyleia.
A battle broke out. Jasson attempted to unlock an uncontrollable darkness with the goal to return Walker's Grendel Demon alter ego to the full, and this was stopped by Renki's mind shield installed earlier. However, since this power was used in the same proximity, Jasson inadvertantly unlocked Renki's alter ego Garcross once again, and Jasson was finally destroyed and put to rest. However, now the gang had a new problem. A massive joining of UGoI and allies occured here, with every person calling their available contacts, all to face the powerful Garcross and his empire he took control of from Jasson. Walker, Joesph, Melurite, Chief, Mercy, Kyleia, Elranda, Eimin, Jacob, Joshua, and others all took to battle with Garcross, but he had become too great. Joesph's capture rendered him incapable of assisting much, but Walker found him and mentally fused with him, fusing their spirit and power as Goku and Piccolo had done once before.
This fusion became known as Woe, and it's power was finally comparable to Garcross', enough to take him down. After their defeat, everyone but Melurite, Chief, Renki', Joesph, and Walker left to go train in the harsh world of Seattle as they had a year previously. While they did, they picked up a few new friends and a distress call. Going to answer it, they found themselves on the Starchild homeworld--where Walker and Joesph's mom was from. There, they met a man trying to stop oncoming attackers, and our heroes learn then that the attacker was a young girl claiming the name Sarah Garcross. She claimed that Garcross intended this all along, knowing his defeat, and managed to create her before then. With her was a black box that absorbed anyone using external energy into it, and Renki', Joesph, and Melurite were all taken by it, and in hand to hand, Walker nor Chief could take her on.
Fleeing the scene, Walker felt a tremendous disturbance in the Force... As if this was all meticulously planned. As if, indeed with his defeat, Garcross had not returned to Renki' at all, and the disappearance Visitng the Jurai homeworld for advice on the box, they eventually left to find the others in Seattle...only to find that Walker's suspicions that only the Kanes had been taken by Sarah Garcross weren't unfounded. Indeed, the team had their own misadventures, and were kidnapped by a secret holy order... And of that holy order, only those directly associated with the Kanes (Mercy, and her daughter from previous marriage, and daughter's love Joshua) had been missing and seperated from the others. Knowing by now, full and well, that the Kanes had betrayed them for the path of evil, if not before following Garcross, certainly now, Walker made it a point to hunt them and stop them.
While it was his job to stop otherworldly enemies, the power that Sarah displayed ended up being too much for him, and a certain level of cowardice took over. Sure Jasson and Garcross were both great opponents, but at least the things that were done were effective to small degrees, and at least they could do those things without beijng absorbed into a box. Chief did not have the spine to do great good at the expense of himself, and upon returning to Seattle, Washington with Walker, he requested he be removed from the scenario and left. The UGoI-ESF, in seeing this, removed Chief from his various stations, as their goals are directly opposed to the goals of the House of Kane, and they can't have cowardice in their ranks. To this day, Chief was never seen again.
Personality: Originally, Chief was emotional to the extreme. While most of his waking hours are spent in a state of continuing bliss he is capable of crying a flood at a moment's notice. He is always willing to help even the the results of his efforts may not be those intended. He bears malice towards no one and can see good in anybody whether it's actually there or not. He takes his duties as a Galaxy Police detective very seriously even if his competence is in question. In many ways, Chief has the spirit of a warrior, not a fighter. His is a noble spirit, in that he fights not for personal gain, but for his people and their freedom. He also adheres to the ways of his ancestors, and honor both the lands and his people's heritage with his actions and deeds. So long as you kept his limitations in mind, Chief was a very lovely person to be around. Chief is a rather odd individual. For starters he's a synthetic human, with an cybernetic right arm and little love for the law.
Over time, this changed. Chief has been described as being as big and strong as an ox. If that is true, then he's certainly as smart as an ox as well. He lacks initiative and rarely thinks for himself. He is blindly loyal to Galaxy Police and Walker Akero, and strives to serve one and protect the other. When Walker's orders contradict his mission, he becomes confused and unsure what to do. He is often frustrated, and tends to jump on the spot when angry. He distrusts Renki', but respects Rahan as a friend and ally. Chief is his own worst enemy. He has built a wonderful rep for himself and now everyone wants him to live up to it. He will walk the walk and talk the talk, but only as long as he is confident he can win. He wants all the fame for himself, and is overconfident enough to challenge opponents who obviously outmatch him. And, of course, once he realizes the trouble he's in, Chief will do his best to sneak off.
