Profile: Elranda Llelyn was a girl Walker's Admiral discovered on their ship years before the creation of the UGoI. Since the Elf was young and timid and uncertain about life, they took her in. She ended up having no memory whatsoever of her history previous to her getting on the ship, but she retained all of the knowledge of combat and magic. She also retained knowledge of occult lore and things such as harp playing and dance and language, but not anything of her history. Rising quickly to the rank of Commander (replacing Walker who became a Captain), they assisted one another, and their whole crew and Jurai allies, in several major battles, where she got a start on what would end up her career as a diplomat.
This all changed when a terribly powerful Demonic entity named Jasson arrived. Bringing Jurai to it's knees, the Jurai's Guardians and Elranda's Federation team all split up and went their seperate ways, to possibly train for this new menace. Elranda took these several years to go and discover her history, first meeting with whatever High Elves she could and reading on all the great lores that race possessed, and then spread out to the Sylvan Elves and the Wild Elves, and from there to the underwater Sea Elves, and Eilistraee's Dark Elf followers that had turned from Lloth and evil to learn all she could histories and lifestyles--both Eilistraee's Dark Elves, and Lloth's, and then went to seek the legendary Night Elves of Azeroth. Every place, she consumed the vast lores, and became a champion to attempt uniting their race.
In this, Elranda became an official ambassador. Often summoned by name alone to deal with problems her race had with others, primarily with her specialty of dealing with two different Elf races, Elranda did this for the several years until the Guardians, the Federation under Admiral Wales, and her Captain in that same fleet, Walker Akero, all made their return in late 1998. The time to strike back at Jasson had come, and when they saw Elranda again, they saw how dramatically changed she had become. She was still very much child-like and adorable, but her knowledge and experience was vastly improved. During this strike back war, Admiral Wales fell to lust for technological power that would surpass all the magic and Jurai secret energy power that found itself running rampent around him, and fell to Jasson's side.
In making a deal with the devil, and s ince Admiral Wales played the father figure role to Elranda, she was more than shocked by his descent to the Dark Side. She was even more enraged when he tried to come onto her, and she joined Walker's efforts to see him put down. This got worse when every single one of the remaining Jurai Guardians were destroyed. Walker's several contacts allowed for a final plan to see him brought down, and the plan seemed to work in the end. As a final show of rank and acknowledgement before turning on their own military, Walker used his rank to promote Elranda to Captain, before taking the fight to their ex-Admiral and Jasson. Their paths split then.
In 1999, Elranda Llelyn was found by Eimin Gutaika, once more stripped of memories even as recent as those. Once more, she retained all of the knowledge she'd ever had concerning fighting, magic, and occult and elven lore, but nothing concerning Walker Akero, or her history with Jasson. She was nurtured back to health, and assisted him with any jobs that required covert operation. This is where she met Walker Akero once again, because he often hired Eimin Gutaika for such tasks. Completely distrusting of a Demon, Elranda's relationship continued to be rocky with Walker, and Walker had no idea why or barely seemed to notice. She had her own adventures with Arthur Bard and Soo Lya to deal with.
In 2001, Elranda Llelyn joined Walker Akero's expedition when he learned of Jasson's return. She wasn't sure why she hated him, but she was determined to be apart of the crew, so she used a spell effect to make herself seem Human, under the guise of an engineer named Eve. Joining Walker and Chief's team on a ship owned by a man named Nelson, they attempted to confront Jasson on their own. However, everyone got split up, and while Eimin Gutaika attempted to help Chief's bunch escape mortal danger, Nelson was giving him the Sword of Japanton for Elranda's release. He used it to seemingly kill Elranda, and then left in grand laughter. In truth, he merely sealed Elranda away in an alternate dimension.
Soon later, Renki' Sar Kane, along with his son Joesph and his new wife Mercy, arrived on the scene to pick up the pieces and answer Walker's distress call. Passing by the area where she was sealed, he opens the dimension, takes Elranda out, and sheds her Eve disguise all before she could even wake up. They then and all confronted Jasson together. Jasson attempted to unlock an uncontrollable darkness with the goal to return Walker's Grendel Demon alter ego to the full, and this was stopped by Renki's mind shield installed earlier.
However, since this power was used in the same proximity, Jasson inadvertantly unlocked Renki's alter ego Garcross once again, and Jasson was finally destroyed and put to rest. However, now the gang had a new problem. A massive joining of UGoI and allies occured here, with every person calling their available contacts, all to face the powerful Garcross and his empire he took control of from Jasson. Walker, Joesph, Melurite, Chief, Mercy, Kyleia, Elranda, Eimin, Jacob, Joshua, and others all took to battle with Garcross, but he had become too great. Joesph's capture rendered him incapable of assisting much, but Walker found him and mentally fused with him, fusing their spirit and power as Goku and Piccolo had done once before. This fusion became known as Woe, and it's power was finally comparable to Garcross', enough to take him down.
After their defeat, everyone but Melurite, Chief, Renki', Joesph, and Walker left to go train in the harsh world of Seattle, and this included Elranda who went out exploring while Joesph prepared them. Through this, she got caught in several conflicts and met several allies, including the well-noted Evil Jack and Gilthas/Tranquillan. The party splits off when Tranquillan meets with the crew lead by Joshua and Kyelia, and they all head to Russia to track down the ones who attacked them during their stay in Seattle. This ends up being a rival faction of super-zealots seemingly opposing Joshua's group. During this time, followers of Jasson, including the long-since thought dead Admiral Wales, also trying to attack them and to ressurect Jasson. This ends up being a three-way fight for power.
They are captured by the super-zealot catholic faction in Siberia, and some are taken captive--namely, Kyleia and Joshua. Likewise, Mercy--Kyleia's mother--leaved to find her, and also disappears, and Elranda leaves to find her. It ends up being no surprise that only the Kanes go missing. Turning out that Gameron Gacross never returned to goodness, he decides here and now to take his family, including the ones in Seattle, with him into hiding, converting them to darkness, and a long-time standing enemy of Walker Akero. Returning to her secondary team, while Gilthas/Tranquillan stays behind, Evil Jack and friends continue their fight with Admiral Wales, attempting to end the ressurection of Jasson, including Elranda getting a spell used on her intended to ressurect him, forming an evil version of Elranda by copying her own essense. This evil version looks exactly like Elranda herself, but shows her alignment by corrupted skin; she is a Dark Elf.
This ends with stopping a clone of Garcross made by Admiral Wales (which he pays for), and Elranda fusing (through acceptence) with her wayward evil spirit, realizing that there's evil in everyone, and that evil should be retuened to her. Soon after, she returns to her life as a vagabond and an ambassador for the Elven worlds. In 2003, Elranda comes across one of Walker Akero's friends, Issuria Moonstar. Upon meeting, they recognized themselves to be an extremely rare case of extreme similarities, with Issuria and Elranda looking like they could have been twins, if not for the fact that Elranda has slightly more slanted eyes, and long, Elven ears. They became extremely good friends, and Issuria became everything to the very child-like Elranda; a sister, a mother, a lover. Her whole world revolved around Issuria.
This caused several events revolving around Issuria's bad choice in men. All too often, Issuria would choose a man, marry the man in a week, and soon consider pregnency. She met many people through her, but very few did she actually like. However, the occasional friendly face came through for her, and one even unlocked all of her forgotton memories back in the days of her Federation employment with Walker Akero. Even though this didn't unlock her memories before being discovered on their ship, it made her happy to have more of herself. In 2004, Elranda, Issuria, and Porthos all left on a grand quest to revisit her homeland, and go wandering for a year.
In 2005, they returned and life continued as usual. Soon after, Issuria left to find her brother, Ryan Moonstar, and left Elranda the Moonstar Tavern to herself. She made a new friend in the meantime, in the form of Louis who began to grow apart from his fiancé (who had been partially a Demon) and grew feelings for her. They were somewhat returned, but in a last-ditched effort to return himself to his love, Elranda's entire friendship was sacraficed to appease her. Bitter by this, it was a welcome to see Issuria return none too long later, bitter at her own brother. Issuria opted to cast off her last name of Moonstar, and Elranda offered Issuria to share in her's--Llelyn. Issuria Llelyn, accepting the name, would eventually in 2006 propose a relationship between the two of them, which Elranda accepted. Elranda enacted with Issuria the Elven Bond.
In late, late 2006, Issuria began to go missing for long periods of time. The few times she'd return, she'd tell about a new group of friends she met on these islands, where she felt truly accepted. However, through that Elven Bond, Elranda found out that Issuria had backstabbed Elranda, and married another man entirely that loved there. Learning of Elranda's knowledge of this incident, Issuria remained hidden rather than confronting her, and Elranda stewed in despair and bitterness until it boiled over and unlocked that dark soul she'd absorbed into herself all those years ago. The Dark-Elf Elranda took control of El's body, and immediately craved Fel power to seek vengeance on the one who scorned her. Her Dark Elf mind and High Elf body made her something of a Blood Elf in the eyes of the many who learned of this.
By mid-2007, the Elven council of Darnassus learned of Elranda Lleyn's turn to evil, and her seeking greater power with things like Fallen Angels. Knowing that the Elven race would be thrown into a chaos if their best ambassador wasn't around to end whatever debates they might summon her, and maybe even end all negotiations between certain races alltogether in favor of war, they immediately produced an acceptable replacement for Elranda, under the same name. She was a Night Elf, but they knew better than any that Elranda was a reputation by name, and many many people would not know what she looked like when summoning her presnece. The replacement Elranda not only covered Elranda's ambassador duties, but also began an investigation for her predacessor, which included the rare help of a Blood Elf named Madriss.
After several rounds with her replacement, and this new Madriss guy, Elranda panics and seeks an aid to her powers. A mysterious red priest of Ares, the God of War, says he will grant her even more power than the power that the Fallen Angel had dabbled to her, if she were to retrieve Walker Akero's family sword. Attacking Walker, and his then-girlfriend Donavon de la Cruz, Elranda fails in this attempt, but wins in loyalty over the Red Priest. He meets up with an old enemy of Walker's, and an lover of Jasson's, that had been recently awakened by the name of Rhine, and assigns Elranda as an aid to their cause since they'd become allies against Walker.
Finding Rhine to have a similar hatred for Walker as she had for Issuria however, she quickly warmed up to Rhine more than Artanis, and somewhere down the line switched overall alliegences. She became one of Rhine's Chevaliers, imbued with tremendous and instantaneous Demonic power as a reward for fully servng Rhine. Eventually, they both betray the Red Priest. She also picks up a new ally in the form of Laban, who was a Forsaken entity that was undead and disgusted by the old Elranda.. But to the new Elranda, she found the potential of power backing her from his undead forces. This war pact was solidified under the idea that the Blood Elves had already formed allies with other Forsaken, so why not her? Since Madriss said she essentially was one, with all that Fel power in her High Elf body.
With her newfound power putting her physically at an even match with Walker, and giving several Negative Ki-based powers, Elranda continued to fight for Rhine until 2008, when Rhine saw Rahan Akero's return as a chance to pick a fight with both Akero at the same time. Elranda knowing better, she warned Rhine not to go, but Rhine would not listen and was suddenly destroyed by their power, while familiar returning UGoI members like Edgar, Kyla, Raven, King, and Shadow all watched on in cheer. Edgar and Rahan, along with Walker, King, and Bo, proceeded to then track down, trick, and destroy Rhine's home base, and all of her surviving Chevaliers, except Elranda who fled to the lands of her ally, the Forsaken leader Laban. It was there she stayed in hiding for quite some time, feeling robbed of Rhine's care.
She was uncertain of Laban, too. While she was evil, she found him repulsive, and already her spirit seemed to question itself. Soon, however, she found one day Laban and friends eating a young innocent man alive, for no reason other than it seemed amusing. When questioned on why he continues with his eating habits, he said he was always hungry. She proposed to cure him of it, but he found he didn't want to, enjoying the eating of other's potentials, particularly the delicacies of babies. This rattled Elranda so much, that it acted like a reversal to Issuria's betrayal. Elranda stewed alone in thoughts of this, letting her bitterness and dark side be washed away with a maternal instinct and her original self back in control, albeit lost in what to do.
In finally agreeing to let Elranda cure him, Elranda discovered, and decieved, a man named Alendral for his power and knowledge. Alendral agreed to shower her things of true power, and lead her to a Lich's lair deep underground. They split up, with Elranda looking for something that could help the situation, and found a Ring of Three Wishes. Upon taking it however, she felt the presense of the Lich suddenly awaken, and in terror she fled, hoping Alendral escaped as well. Returning to Laban, he argued with her nonstop about how the process should be done, and they ended on poor terms that evening. So rattled by this, Elranda turned to a girl she'd recently met in the area who'd been a growing friend, even if Elranda didn't want to accept it.
Telling her the story, this friend advised Elranda to return to Walker Akero, and let him know the whole story. She did so, and being an understanding person--especially on matters of the soul and redemption--he accepted Elranda's change, on the condition that she join the Fellowship of the Holy Beacon. The FotHB needed a new Division Commander for the Mages, since their's left on some damned-fool ritualistic crusade. Likewise, he felt from personal experience, that Elranda would need the presense of others around her to remind her why not to do things the evil way, but rather instead the way of good and hard work. To keep her mind off of Issuria and on new opportunities. Elranda agreed, and so it remains.
Personality: A milder version of an anti-hero. She's not as ruthless as the American comic-book definition of anti-hero (if anything, the Elfling is usually NOT overpowering). Bad-tempered, possessive, vengeful, vindictive, spiteful, dishonest, steals riches, ruthless, tricks people, and basically thinks only of money, food, and learning new powerful spells. Fundamentally, though, she's still good-natured and well-intentioned on the whole. Changes emotions at the drop of a hat... But, she's not ALL bad. Haughty, as is befitting to her position as a young member of one of the elder races, she can be extremely sarcastic and biting towards other races at times in close positions, especially Dwarves, and Dark Elves, although she is polite and well-mannered in public usually. Once you've broken past the exterior, however, you are greeted with a kind, gentle, caring soul, pleasant and friendly to be with, although retaining a playful sarcasm. She can be prone to jealousy, however, and can be upset somewhat easily if she's not given the attention she wants, at the time that she wants it. While it may also be easy to placate her in these situations once you realize what's going on by simply giving her the focus she's wanted, it could prove to be a slight source of annoyance at times. She makes up for it however, with her usually-delicate nature, and her devotion, which could lead her to be very nuturing, affectionate, and even somewhat fawning in the right situations.
