Tetsu

Tetsu, tett-chan...I miss his long hair look! The first time I saw him and Hyde with long hair I thought they're both girls! They were like twin sisters. I am not kidding! He used to have this long hair that swings whenever he plays guitar. But I really like the pictures of him with short hair in "True" . Especially the ones where he is driving his white convertible along the highway.

Tetsu is the leader of L'Arc~en~Ciel. He was the one who "invited" Sakura to be the drummer for the band. He is like the baby-sitter/mother of L'Arc. He must've been devastated when one of his "kids" - Sakura got arrested......

Tetsu wrote many songs for L'Arc~en~Ciel, too. His style is more "pop" I love the bass line he played in "Lies and Truth" [TRUE] , right after Hyde's intro. Tetsu can also sing, the first time I heard him is in "Dearest Love" [TRUE] , singing in falsetto with Hyde .

Sometimes it is hard to imagine him now, with those long black dresses, red/dark lipstick and super high heels (although he still wear tall shoes) that he used to wear. Those who are new to L'Arc would be going like "What???". Yes! Back in 1991 he used to dress pretty gothicly. That's how all the other visual bands used to look like too. I think Tetsu looks great either way. he is also a fashion freak. He claimed that his favorite past time is to go shopping and read fashion magazines like 'BAZAAR'! If you look closely at his clothes you'll see he wears many brand names such as : Jean Paul Gaultier, Calvin Klein, DKNY, Dolce and Gabbana, Hugo Boss...etc. hehe
