// The Octagon Guard \\

These incredibly powerful few are somewhat like a wandering version of the Elite four, only stronger by ten or twenty Pokémon levels. There are eight in total, each representing a particular type, and they roam around Janera as they please. Nearly impossible to beat, the Octagon Guard each wear a special helmet derogative of their chosen type. Seven of them are all equally as powerful to one another, aside from their leader, the eighth. This highly talented individual is the strongest league-recognised trainer in all of Janera and can call the other seven of the Guard to carry out certain special tasks. Overall, you wouldn’t want to mess with them.
The Octagon Guard only show their faces and give their names to trainers that have proven their worth in battle. Otherwise they go by abbreviations of their status; e.g.
Octarain the Water Guard
Octaflare the Fire Guard
Octasky the Air Guard
Octamech the Steel Guard
Etc. The Guards are as follows:

The Water Guard

His helmet is designed to resemble a Gyarados, standard shape aside from a trail of scale-shaped metal pieces that start at the bottom back of the helmet and go up along the centre from back to front, narrowing as it goes, At the front it spreads out to form the head of the serpent, the bottom jaw not connected at the front but halting alongside the jawbone. It is made of platinum with a blue tinge. The visor has vertical slits.

Her helmet is wrought of bright gold. It forms a point between the eyes over the existing part of the helmet, spreading out as it moves back over the Guard’s head. It stops at the back, forming a vertical flat panel running down to just below the bump of the head. The visor is pocked with holes in lines and a soft red velvet stops the helmet from digging into the Fire Guard’s head and neck.
