VISIT WITH THE PRESIDENT Members of the Executive Committee met with the President of the Republic, His Excellency, Professor Maxwell Richards on Thursday 19th February 2004 to bring greetings from the TRA and also to congratulate His Excellency on his appointment to the Presidency. The four-man delegation was led by the Chief of Defence Staff Brigadier Ancil Antoine in his capacity as the President of the TRA, Vice President Brigadier (Ret.) Joseph Theodore, Secretary Aftab Khan and Mr. Terrance Paty, Vice Captain Fullbore and Chairman of the Jubilee Committee. His Excellency said the he was delighted to meet with the TRA representatives and showed a keen interest in the business of the association. He was particularly interested in the possibility of shooters attaining a spot in the upcoming Olympic Games and said that he was aware of being the Patron of the Association. He looked forward to attending the various functions to be held during the Jubilee year. |
