Now I must warn you. If you come here looking for good service or a quick meal, you are out of luck. What you will find is good seafood. The menu is very small. It list a normal list of Po-Boys and Fried Seafood plates. There are a few appetizers, but you should start your meal by ordering 3 Stuffed Crabs for $3.50. They are very tasty with a hint of garlic. Must have gotten a recipe from Emeril.
After that, find out what thew specials are for the night. Every night except Friday, htey have a Bioled Special. This is your best choice. Roll upyour sleeves and dig in to some of the best boiled seafood in the city. almost all of the specials are all you can eat. And I know that everyone loves boiled seafood, especially all you can eat. On Monday thru Wednesday, they also offer an all you can eat on fried seafood.
The only drawback is the service. It usually takes a while before someone comes to the table. Not once have I had a server who I would consider pleasant. But I guess when you are paying these low prices, you have to give somewhere. And I would always give in the service area instead of the food area. The soft drinks are non refill after 5pm. which makes up for the low prices. On Tuesdays, they offer $1 Longneck Beers.
There are no desserts to be offered. But after you finish eating all you can, who wants dessert.
I strongly suggest you take a trip through the Belle Chasse Tunnel to eat some really good seafood. Boiled or Fried, you can't go wrong. I especially suggest you visit during Crawfish Season.
