SCREAM: Yeah, we got some Screams for you! This movie is the bomb, man! It rocks, it is gory, and it is gruesome. Screw I Know What You Did Last Summer, or Halloween. This film rocks more than even ANY John Carpenter movie ever made. That's right, this is the ultimate horror film. It's a SCREAM, baby!
This is definitely a 4 star movie on my scale. My only complaint is the fact that it could have used more movie references but it didn't. As a horror film it was great. As a satire of horror cliches, it could have been more. |

Some of the greatest parts of the movie come when we learn that this is more like real-life, our heros are horror movie fans and know the rules.... While at the same time, break them.... And when you break the rules, off goes your head.... That's right, the heros of this movie are aware of the cliches in this movie, GREAT! A wonderful piece of fun. I recommend the DVD. |

These two scenes are almost exactly the same, the one on the left is from Scream 2 and the one on the right from Scream 1.
In Scream 2, however, the characters are very differant, showing how people change over time. However, the second one, sorry Wes, was virtually a carbon copy of the first making the second one less enjoyable. It is less effective and has less cameos. |

Notice Halloween playing in the background? It's interesting, the knife in the TV had been stabbed several times and there is no blood is on it. This is similar to the fact that in Scream, the killer wipes the blood off the knife after he's killed a person. |
