United Church Women The United Church Women's Purpose is to Unite women of the congregation for the total mission of the church and to provide a medium through which we may express our loyalty and devotion to Jesus Christ in Christian witness , study, fellowship and service. Valois United has over 60 United Church Women divided into 5 different units. They are a creative and hard working group which sponsor 12 major events a year. They are also a great support group to each other and any woman who becomes a part of the parish life. The co-ordinator for the U.C.W. is Mrs. Donna Kane. December 1 - Christmas Coffee Party, UCW December 4 - Mini Bazaar, UCW Window Shop Have you looked at the Window Shop lately?. There's a selection of gifts of handpainted glassware & switchplates, cork trivets, and much more. Over the years many members of the UCW and the parish have generously donated their favorite recipes, guarded family secrets, treasures in every sense of the word. Well we found the key to the mother lode and present some samplings to be shared. We will add to our collection as they are submitted. Click on the the recipes image United Church Men The United Church Men have over 25 active men. The primary focus of this group is fellowship and special projects. They really know their way around a kitchen, with Roast Beef Dinners, Barbeques, Italian dinners and pie making. The co-ordinator for the U.C.M. is Mr. Malcolm Parker.
