| Summer | Swimming, Hiking, Canoeing, and fishing are the main activities during the summer months. |
| Fall | Fall Foliage is the areas major attraction during September and October. Early October is also the time for the 9 day Fryeburg Fair one of the largest old time fares east of the Mississippi River. After Columbus day the sales in the outlets in North Conway start in preparation for Christmas. |
| Winter | Skiing both Cross Country and down hill are the areas major draws. There are also numerous snowmobile trails. |
| Spring | Spring and late fall are quiet times in the valley. The traffic and crowds of summer and fall are non-existent. This is a great time to kick back and relax and take advantage of the sales at North Conway's Outlet Stores, the 2 for 1 dining specials at the Inns. Spring is the best time for lake fishing, bass, trout and land locked Salmon will jump at anything that vaguely resembles food. This is the best time of year for fisherman. We have had people tell us they caught as many as 17 2-3 pound bass in a single summer day, by contrast a good fishing day in the summer will yield 2 or 3 bass. |
| Any Time | The Conway and North Conway area have many great restaurants. But the best food is available at the local Inns. There are over 100 inns in the area . |
