Lector:
After the Sabbath, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to the sepulchre.  There was a mighty earthquake. The angel came to the stone, rolled it back and sat on it., and said to the women: "Do not be afraid. Jesus is not here. He is risen. Go and tell his disciples: `He is risen from the dead.`" The woman ran to announce the event. (MT 28, 1-7)

All:
Risen Jesus, say to each one of us: "Rise and walk." Give us a new heart so as to love the same as you loved. Give us new arms and hands so as to work the way you worked.
