Lector:
The disciples said to Thomas: "We have seen the Lord!" But he said to them: "Unless I put my hand in his side, I will never believe it." A week later, Jesus came and stood before them despite the locked doors, and said to Thomas: "Put your hand into my side and do not persist in your unbelief." Thomas replied:
" My Lord and my God!" (Jn 20,24)

My Lord and my God, grant us faithfulness towards your friendship, which is the fruit of Easter.
