So, this is me on Animal Crossing--
I make it sound like drugs--
Yes, I'm the typical side-glance black-eyed boy of niceness, but aren't I just particularily cute?
I'm wearing one of my patterns, N's Blanket, my current favourite.
As a side note, I remember walking out the door right after I took this picture, shook a tree, and got stung by a flying pile of rampaging bees, but my camera was out of batteries so you don't get to see it.
|
I want to show you around my humble abode so it's only right to start outside.
I have a lovely green roof under all that snow, a second floor, and a basement.
Unfortunately I didn't get a shot of my garden or I'd show you that too. It's a real beauty.
|
We'll start the tour in my basement, since it was the first floor to have it's own style.
Please notice the bar (and barrels), sitting area, music entertainment (K.K. Jazz), bathroom, and bed. My pals Grizzly, Chief, Billy, Aziz and I hang out down here playing poker and dri-- I mean, 'chatting.'
I've actually gotten a keg and a dresser since this photo so it's a bit outdated, but it's the same relative setup.
|
Now I'm pleased to welcome you to my main floor. Imperial K.K. is playing and as you can see I've chosen the green series as a decor direction with a hint of exotic and several household items and collectable sets.
Yes, I do have an entire figurine set, it is the pride of my collection! ... that and my completed STRINGED INSTRUMENT SET!! Oh the joy...
If you're wondering how that madness is possible, I share my lovely town of Vancouer with my three sisters, whose houses I may show you all one day, and we all collect everything together. Yellow Dragonair collects clocks, Cabin, and Exotic. Black Persian is into Lovely, Classic, and Citrus (though anything particularily flowery will do). Red Articuno sticks to blue, Regal, and rare items.
|
And finally, my second floor. I decided to go in a completely other direction up here with the not-so-appealing-black-and-white Modern Series, toned down a touch by plants and other colourful items as well as the uplifting tune of K.K. Condor.
The best thing about the Modern Series, which I don't think is much to look at, is that it's wonderfully practical. YOU CAN PUT STUFF ON THE DESK!! It's amazing! It's revolutionary! It looks pretty darn snappy all together!
But there's one thing I must point out up here. Do you see that NES console beside the model of Gracie's car? That is probably the one thing that made Animal Crossing the most must have game for the GameCube!! ... at least in my mind. That little console there contains a game I remember (barely) from my childhood that my family rented and played right up to to very minute that we had to return it. The best game in the universe. The game we could never find again because the Super NES came out and no one sold normal NES stuff anymore (or even rented it so far as we could find). The one. The only. PINBALL!!!!
You cannot even begin to imagine the joy I feel at having found it in Redd's little chop shop. 12,000 bells, but worth every video game penny.
Anyway, ranted about that enough.

Well to be honest, I've already remodelled the place. It's not nearly so themed looking anymore, but I like it.
I'll post some new shots of it sometime.
