Five guys (around sixteen, all very skinny and having severe mental trauma)
take on a major corporation known as OZ. The wonderful wizard of OZ is an
incredibly twisted and yet completely composed (which is more than I can say
about the, ahem, 'heeros') man by the name of Treize Khushrenada.
Heero (the geeky and horribly insane one) fights in the gundam known as 01, the Wing Gundam. Duo
(the loud and obnoxious one) owns 02, 'Deathscythe'.
Trowa (the interesting one) has 03, the Heavyarms. Quatre (the sweetest of them all [not to mention the rich kid]) calls his 04 'Sandrock'.
Wufei (the uhh, sometimes smart and insane about weak things type one) fights in 'Nitaku', 05 (also known as 'Shenlong').
What's that? Why didn't I mention the whole fag trip and say Quatre was sissy? Because (a) I honestly ain't into 'Yaoi', and (b) as for Quatre being sensitive and wearing pink, can't a guy care about his friends? IT WAS THE EIGHTIES, MAN! EVERYBODY WORE PINK! Go watch Desprately Seeking Susan... you'll see.
Anyhow, Gundam Wing is about (and it took me a few episodes to figure this out)
A. the corruption of politics, B. the pointlessness of war, and C. how many
different ways you can blow up amazing city scenery into tiny smoking bits. Oh, and there are some issues dealing with suicide, how man doesn't have the power to change the future, and total pacifism. It can get pretty deep sometimes.
