Vasco Da Gama
|
Close
to Mormugao Harbor and 3km from Dabolim airport, Vasco Da Gama is a
busy industrial town with a rather seedy feel about it - not helped
by the presence of a well known red light district. With the
new station at Margao taking over as the main rail hub, few
travelers will bother to venture up to this unexciting town.
If you fly into Goa, it's possible you may want to stay overnight in
Vasco rather thank take a taxi further afield. There is an
HDFC bank's 24hours ATM on Swatantra Path. |
