RIMCU publishes a journal called BAHANDI (BAHANDI is a Visayan
term which means treasure or wealth). The name BAHANDI was choosen
because the journal is intended to be a repository of a wealth of information
and knowledge about the culture, environment and population of Mindanao.
BAHANDI is published annually and mainly features the researches
of the Research Associates of RIMCU. BAHANDI also publishes
some scholarly written research-based term papers of graduate students
of the Department of Sociology and Anthropology of Xavier University.
RIMCU encourages graduate students to submit research papers for possible
publication in
BAHANDI to fulfill its commitment of providing
graduate students with opportunities to develop and to become future scholars
of Mindanao.
RIMCU also has a Publication Office which works to bring the 44 years of
RIMCU research to the attention of a wider audience. Some of the
