RIMCU PUBLICATIONS

RIMCU publishes a journal called BAHANDI (BAHANDI is a Visayan term which means treasure or wealth). The name BAHANDI was choosen because the journal is intended to be a repository of a wealth of information and knowledge about the culture, environment and population of Mindanao.

BAHANDI is published annually and mainly features the researches of the Research Associates of RIMCU.  BAHANDI also publishes some scholarly written research-based term papers of graduate students of the Department of Sociology and Anthropology of Xavier University.  RIMCU encourages graduate students to submit research papers for possible publication in BAHANDI  to fulfill its commitment of providing graduate students with opportunities to develop and to become future scholars of Mindanao.

RIMCU also has a Publication Office which works to bring the 44 years of RIMCU research to the attention of a wider audience.  Some of the research monographs that are now available from this office include the following:  (click q for abstracts and for more information)
