After a good night's rest, we were raring to go again. This time for the long drive up Montreal, (about 6 hours away).

We found out the best way to endure the long road trip is to go to sleep. Which explains why when I opened my eyes, we've reached Montreal already. heehee.

The first sight of Montreal made me think I'm still dreaming... you instantaneously feel that you've reached a French city cos' you'll be bombarded with road signs and boards that are all in French. It's hard to believe that you're still in Canada, not France.

Boosting a colourful nightlife and a multitude of things to see and do, Montreal is the city I'll love to visit again. It's unbelievable the amount of things to do and the sights to take in...

Our first night in Montreal was spent walking along this main street in the downtown area, called Saint-Catherine which is laced with strip clubs and "peeping" bars, with shop names such as "Le Sex Machine". People walking past billboards of nude women hardly bat an eyelid (the same of course, cannot be said for our guys). Still, with the two girls restraining their freedom, their much hoped for "GNO" (Guys' Night Out) didn't materialize...

Instead we went to gratify our greed for money instead. heehee...
We headed for one of Montreal's 3 spectacular casinos -- Casino de Montreal, hoping to top up our budget for the trip.

Since it's an "absolute must," we had to go and check out the place. After losing our way several times enroute to the casino, we still refused to heed the divine warnings and go home.

In the end, instead of winning some money, the inevitable happened.

We finally left the casino at 3am with weary hearts and lighter pockets.

Note: I did bring back the (empty) coins holder as a souvenir though.
