The spout is taken from a mineral water bottle. Different spout designs exits but all have an exterior plastic part that seals the bottle by rotating or pulling. The exterior plastic part is removed and then the center cap on the spout is removed as well. This leaves the body of the spout that has a 11.8 mm (.46") diameter nozzle. The outer part of the spout is sealed against the launcher inner body with an o-ring. The o-ring is kept in position between the white tube and the white ring. The body of the launcher is made of parts from irrigation systems.
Release mechanism is Clark cable tie.
Advantages: Reduced nozzle diameter. Diameter can be further reduced by casting epoxy glue into the spout and drilling any required diameter. I have one spout with a 1.5mm nozzle that is gentle enough to serve as a glider engine !!
Disadvantages: Difficult to build with launch tube, hard to support heavy rockets.
