Rusty as Jeff Burton follows close behind. Other than Jeff Gordon it appeared that the race would
be won by one of these three drivers.
Jeff Gordon tries to put Dale Earnhardt a lap down. Rick Mast (98) helped Dale out some by "blocking".
As long as Gordon tried to put Dale a lap down the
harder Dale drove. This went on for about 14 laps before Jeff's tires started heating up and he
backed off. It sure was typical D.E. racing.
What I believe to be a nice picture of Terry Labonte and Dale Earnhardt going down the back stretch
By far my favorite
picture of the day. IF not for the guy walking in our way!!! This was the eventual winner, early in the
race trying to stay on the lead lap which he just regained prior to thgis picture being
