Jeremy Mayfield had a bad day. Period. After
spinning out in turn 1 very early he went down a few laps and got back to racing. He gets together
withJohnny Benson on the back stretch here.
Here is the race leader putting Jeremy another lap down.

Nadeau got some help into the wall!!!! 
Rookie Tony Stewart started on the pole but ended up getting together with Michael
Waltrip half way through the race. 
Tony Stewart heads into the pits with MAJOR damage to the front of teh car. His crew would remove the hood of the car before he finally started racing.
Kenny Irwin ended up on the wall after an altercation on the back stretch. The car did not receive significant damage and continued on but he went a few laps down while waitng for the wrecker to help him down off the wall.
