SECTIONS. 1) Sterpo - Ariis. 2) Ariis - Precenicco. 3) Precenicco - Lignano Sabbiadoro.
CLASS. WW I. The section 2 has some passages of WW II.
LENGTH OF TRIP. Section 1: 6 km. Section 2: 14 km. Section 3: 20 km.
TIME. Section 1: 2 hours. Section 2: 4 hours. Section 3: 6 hours.
BOARDING. Section 1: east of the little village of Sterpo, near an "Agriturismo". The other sections anywhere in the villages, near bridges.

SEASON. Any time
POLLUTION. None in the first section. Cloudy water later.
NEARBY EXCURSIONS. Villa Manin at Passariano. Aquileia, roman village. Palmanova, particular XVII c. plan.
LODGING. Free camping at Ariis near the river (ask permission, water available). Typical Rerstaurant with trouts at Flambruzzo: "Da Pippo sul fiume Stella".

DESCRIZIONE GENERALE. Primo tratto con corrente debole in fittissima vegetazione. Secondo più veloce e a volte manovriero. Terzo acqua ferma e laguna.
ACCESSI. Veneto. A4 Venezia- trieste uscita Latisana.
TRATTI. 1) Sterpo - Ariis. 2) Ariis - Precenicco. 3) Precenicco - Lignano Sabbiadoro.
IMBARCHI. 1) Ad est di Sterpo, ponte appena dopo un Agriturismo. 2) Prima del ponte di Ariis. 3) Nel paese dopo una passarella pedonale in legno
SBARCHI. 1) Prima del ponte di Ariis. 2) Nel paese dopo una passarella pedonale in legno. 3) Porto-canale interno
DIFFICOLTÀ. 1) 6 km di primo grado. 2) 14 km di primo grado con passaggi di secondo. 3) 20 km di acqua ferma
