Day 6 U.S.

Thursday, July 5, 2001

Well the day started out bright and early with a tourist looking into my car window, probably to see if I was alive. My mistake for choosing to sleep in a tourist hot spot! Now since I was awake I decided to get a move on to the Mammoth Hot Springs. Once there it took me what seemed like an hour and a half to tour through the area . . . then I went and saw it all a SECOND time because the first time around I had used color film to photograph the sights and now I had changed over to black and white to get a different view of the sights . . . gawd i'm such a . . . PHOTOGRAPHER!!! Its pathetic I know. Finally with that done I felt I had thoroughly seen Yellowstone for all of its worth . . . course that's not true but I think I saw all of the waterfalls . . . and I'm such a sucker for waterfalls!

So now the rest of my day was spent driving basically from Yellowstone to Glacier National Park. I'm not sure how long it took me to drive all that way but I didn't get a chance to sit and relax till 8pm that evening. Interesting thing I saw on the drive was a torch runner, like for the Olympics but I know it's not an Olympic year, so that was kinda curious. Also saw a LOT of crosses on the side of the 93 highway to Glacier, kinda freaky to see how many people died on that road!

I think ill go check out the outdoor theatre tonight before bed . . .

Undine Falls where i woke up this morning
