What Would Have Been

If all of my original ideas had made it up onto this site, it would look a whole lot different.
One section that I had been set on doing from the beginning was Publisher Profiles.  I was going to have a couple paragraphs on each company that made games for the NES.  I still want to do it, but this section got the no because it would take too damn long.
I also wanted to do NES Fan Interviews.  I was going to interview NES fans thru AIM and post the conversations on this site.  Why didn't this section make it?  At the last minute I found that Emperor Nakoo Hiryuu had the same thing on his page.  Not a fan of copying, I deleted this section.
I also copied Big Stu's "How to Start A Website."  I wrote it up and it was a bit different than his version, but come on, put two and two together.  It was stealing.  I didn't want to be unoriginal, so I took down the link to that section.
I also used to think that I would have forty reviews done when I put the site up.  But that would have taken forever!  So I smartly opted to put the site up with just a handful and add one a week.
There were a couple shrines that also didn't make the final cut.  I wanted to do a Dragon Warrior shrine, but I never did that because you think I'm willing to spend fifty bucks for an NES game?
I also was going to have a chat room on my site.  However, I figured that it wasn't a good idea to start with one because nobody would ever be in there.  However, once my site gains popularity, I plan to have a chat room with scheduled chats.
