The original Great NES Songs section was, in a word, a failure.  Actually, that's two words, but you get the point.
Unfortunately for you, I am way to stubborn to let this section go down so easily.  I've brought it back completely revamped; it is no longer anything like it was when NEStopia first went up.
What Great NES Songs will now contain is information on some of the games that had great music for the NES.  I'll pick a handful of the songs that I especially like and try to explain why they work so well.  Hopefully you'll get an education on good NES music.
The only similarity between the original Great NES Songs and this one is that you can still submit things.  If you have a game that you would like featured here in Great NES Songs, send it here
.  OSG, that's your cue to send in Gargoyle's Quest 2.  I'm waiting...

Ninja Gaiden I
Possibly the best music on the NES is in this game.  But what makes it the best music?  I'm going to take a look at a few of the tunes, including 4-2, 5-3, the intro, and Foster's tune.

Mega Man II
Mega Man II had a pretty solid score.
