If you've read my first memory, you're quite familiar with Aki. Well, Aki's a big part of this memory too.
I played this game a lot at his house. Ever since I first played it at his house, it was my favorite game of his. Every time I came back to his house, on up to 5th grade (when Aki moved back to Japan) we played it. Despite all the hours I put into this game, I remember quite little about it. Here is what I do know.
I know the genre of the game. It was a racing game. Ok, that leaves about 100 games or so. Well, I know a little bit more than that it was a racing game.
It was motorcycle game. NO, IT WAS NOT EXCITEBIKE. If I remember correctly, it was two-player.
The view was sort of like Excitebike. It was a side-scroller, and the angle of the camera was similar to Excitebike.
I think that there were teams of racers, like in Road Rash 64. This may not be correct, so don't rule out a possibility because of this.
Unfortunately, this is all I know. And now that Aki is in Japan, I will never figure out what game this is. Unless one of you can help me. Please e-mail me with "Unknown Game" in the subject line if you know the answer.
Big Important News Flash!
This story was posted on Goat and Bubblun's NES Message Board of NESescity, in the hopes that one of the great NES fans there would know what game I was talking about. Within a couple hours, I had my answer! This game is Seicross! My local Funco hasn't had Seicross in for awhile, but when they do I will snatch it up.
