Part I - 8:30 AM
6-2 is still killing me.  It seems like I am streaky on that level...I do horribly on it for half an hour, and then I have one good attempt where I put everything together and beat the last couple sections all on one life.  Unfortunately, I haven't had my good run yet in about a half an hour of play this morning.  I'll just have to wait.

Part II - 11:00 AM

It was with a heavy heart that I, at 10:19 AM, turned off my NES.  As I pushed in the power button, I felt as though I was draining myself of hours of work.  And I was.  All my progress in Ninja Gaiden is back to nothing.  Why did I do such a thing?
I wanted to play other games.  I had bought RBI Baseball on Day 1 at Funcoland, and I hadn't been able to play it yet.  I also hadn't been able to play Metal Gear and Battletoads, which had come in the mail the day before the project began.
I knew that there was no way that I would beat the game today.  It was just too overwhelming.  With the skills I brought to the table this time, I had absolutely no chance of being victorius.
By no means does this mean that Ninja Gaiden will take a back seat in my collection.  I plan on doing Ninja Gaiden project number two shortly after the unveiling of this site.  So stay tuned for further updates to my Ninja Gaiden addiction.
