Robert Burto To Bracher Deed
The following deed was copied from Book "A" page 127
This indenture made this ninth day of February in the year of our lord
1804 between Robert Burton of the County of Granville and State of North
Carolina of the one part and John Bracher of the county of Claiborne and State of
Tennessee of the other part Witnesseth that the said Robert Burton for and
in consideration of the sum of Eight hundred dollars to him in hand paid the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged doth grant bargain Hath & by thes
presents sell alien and confirm unto the said John Bracher his heirs and assigns forever
a certain tract or parcel of land containing Two hundred acres lying and being in
the County of Claiborne And State of Tennessee bounded as
follows to wit beginning at a Hycory tree standing on the Dividing line
of lot I then South 61 west 100 poles to a Buck eye tree
near Frylies old place thence up the branch as it meanders No 50 west 44
poles No 15 west 70 poles to a hicory then North 40 West 164 poles
to a Stake and ash Thence No 50° East 130 to a stake in said dividing line
Thence with the said line So 29 East 284 poles to the Begginning. With and singular
the wood waterWater courses profits commodities heriaditaments and
appertinances what soever to the said tract or parcel of land belonging
or appertaining and the reversion and reversions Remainder and interest
property Claim and demand of him the said Robert Burt his
heirs and assigns forever of in and to the same and every part and
parcel thereof either in law or equity to have and to hold the said 200
acre of land with all the appurtinances unto the said John Bracher
his heirs and assigns forever against the lawful claim or demands of all
and every person or persons What soever. Will warrant - and forever
defend by these presents. In Witness whereof the said Robert
Burton hath hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year above
written. |
