Sampson has lived at the shelter for 6 years. He is probably the most gorgeous German Shepherd ever. Six years ago I rescued him, and he had huge chains and padlocks around a dying 30 pound frame. Once I got him healthy I realized I have an incredible dog, but also one that I would always have to be careful about placing. Sammy's issues are he has to get to know you first, and then he is all loving and a big baby. He can get along with the girl dogs (typical man) but on walks he doesn't like strangers and unfamiliar dogs. He will also be protective of his home. I put him on the website for he is getting older, about 10 but healthy as a horse, and I want his remaining years to be those of love, a yard and many car rides (his favorite). So I am looking for that special someone who will have a special place in their heart to my best friend, Sampson.

	Jethro Bodine was rescued from the streets of South City. Scared and alone, he welcomed a helping hand. He is a giant baby Lab, 102% puppy love. Great temperament and a goof. He is under a year so he will be a big boy!
This beautiful Husky female was strayed, starving and pounding the city streets for some time. Her name is Mishi and her foster Mom just raves about her. Thank goodness Stray Rescue has so many great foster parents; you too can foster....just give us a call and give Mishi a forever home!
	This handsome little guy is Teddy. He is on the smaller side, 25 pounds or so, and all so cute and sweet. He likes other dogs and loves people too. He was rescued, sick with heartworms and so skinny, but now he is 100% healthy and ready for a "real" home.

Poor Pete, 7 weeks old and about starved to death. Luckily he was rescued and we will be fattening this cutie up! All I can say is that he is adorable.
