Bruno's Page

Bruno (1982-1996) was 14 when he died. He was a big cat, but he was also overweight and this ultimately lead to his death. It is almost impossible to get an indoor cat to lose weight, regardless of his diet. It's best to keep them from getting fat in the first place.

Bruno was almost 18 pounds when he died. He got a mild kidney infection which caused him to stop eating for a couple of days. This lead to him developing hepatic lipidosis which caused him to die. If you'd like to learn more about hepatic lipidosis go to my Medical Page.

This is my favorite picture of Bruno. I think he was pretty well named. With the black facial markings, he looks like kind of a bruiser.

This is bruno in his skinnier days. He was about 8 years old in this picture.

This is how I best remember Bruno. He spent a lot of time on HIS couch.

A nice portrait. About age 10.

This is Bruno and Kiki in a rare moment of affection. Kiki died January 19th 1998 of complications of Diabetes mellitus. Again, you can get more info about Diabetes mellitus on my Medical Page
