Kiki's Page

Kiki (1985-1998) was about 12 and a half when he died. He was a great cat once he warmed up to you, but wasn't much into the other cats or strangers. If he didn't know you, you probably wouldn't see much of him if you came to visit.

Unlike Bruno (my fat cat) Kiki weight about 7 pounds when he died. He had diabetes mellitus which required insulin injections every day. He was about 11 pounds at his peak, but as diabetes often does, he had progressively lost weight. If you'd like to learn more about diabetes mellitus go to my Medical Page.



Kiki, used to sit like this a lot. He'd curl his front feet under himself either to keep warm or to protect his feet from the other cats!

Not a great photo. You'd think he was a drunk by the color of his nose.




I always thought this picture looked like the cat on the 'Fresh Step' litter commercial.
