Jennifer's Page...
(a little bit about me...)
I have had some requests to add a page to tell a little bit about myself, so here I go!
I graduated (with Honors) from St. Joseph's High School in South Bend IN in June of 1998.
Well I am a Registered, Licensed  Dental Hygienist (LDH, RDH). I received my license July 2001!  I work full time at Osceola Dental Care, (formerly Spilman Dentistry, that is a long story) in Osceola, IN.  I enjoy my career, unlike most people these days! See my dental hygiene page!
In July 2004, my mom and I went on a horse pack trip into the mountains near Colorado Springs.  I was not aware it was going to be as primative as it was.  Hey, I live in Indiana, you can't get away from civilization.  So imagine my surprise when we set up camp at 11,000 feet in the Rocky Mountains, with no facilities!  I might mention now that I have a fear of public restrooms, so I have an even bigger fear of going in no restroom at all!  After facing my fear, and enduring a snowstorm!! I had a lot of fun.  I can't say I would ever do it again, but it was a good experience.  The mountains are gorgeous, this was my first time seeing them, not to mention being in them! I would not mind living closer to them, just not 11,000 ft in them! Personally I will stick with the hotel style vacations from now on.  I never considered myself a city girl, but I can now say I am NOT a rough it girl!
My mom  adopted a really cute lop rabbit, we named her Hunny Bunny.  She came to her with the name Nasty Bunny, comforting, right?  She left us in 2005, but I like to think her last few years were good ones!

At my parent's house they have a parakeet named
Sparky that talks (I think he says about 35 words or more.  He is a kick!) Then theres Meeka and Lucy.

Of course theres Gusto, I won't say anymore because I'm sure you have already seen and read about him!  And now there is
Zeke, Gusto's adopted brother, actually my mom's horse.

I have a cat,
Samson, that I adopted in 2004.  I also have a parakeet, Monte, but he isn't tame and he doesn't talk either.  I tried to tame him, but he didn't want anything to do with me, oh well, he enjoys life with all his toys. I recently adopted another rabbit, Cosmo.  He is as cute as a button and sweet too!

I had a bearded dragon,
Kiante. I was just taking care of him for a friend, but he became my little buddy, until his untimely death in 2003.  I have really thought about getting another one, maybe someday.
Well I am it looks like I may just have found my dream guy.  (Took long enough!) Interesting way we met too!  His sister was a patient of mine and wanted to hook me up with her brother, it was a good thing I was up for it because Gary and I have been inseparable ever since.  He is the greatest guy and I know we will end up married in the future.  So the hunt is off, thanks to all who tried to help!  I will keep you updated on future 'happenings' like the wedding and children, hee hee!
