Sailor Mercury/Mizunio Ami

Ami (Amy in the DiC dub) is a normal fourteen year old teenager, so she thought, who goes to Juuban Junior High. (a.k.a Crossroads Junior High) She is a very bright girl who can pull her own weight sometimes. She is very quiet, kind soul who is normaly alone when not with the other senshi(Scouts). Ami lives with her mother in an appartment (in the DiC version, but in the Japaniese version she lives in a mansion). Her mother is a doctor just like what Ami wants to be.

She likes many different things. Such as every school subject, Tsukino Usagi (Serena in the DiC version), all the other scouts, Mamuru (Darien in the DiC dub) and her best friend Rai (Sailor Mars).

On day when she came to Juuban she met up with Usagi. They started talking and became friends. Usagi was one of Ami's first friends, because nobody wanted to talk to her because she was too smart. "All she ever does is study. She's such a book worm. Yea, straight A Ami. The world's smartest loner" ( Fellow peers in the Sailor Moon R movie.) Also in the Sailor Moon R movie when Sailor Moon died all the scouts were very sad and deppressing. Sailor Mercury says, "The moon crystal used all her strength. We can't loose her."

One day Luna scensed something from Ami and it turned out that she was Sailor Mercury-Queen of the Ocean.

Ami is almost always quiet when it comes to Rai and Usagi's arguing. She is never the one to take action. Okay maybe once when they were off to fight Baryl. Sailor Moon was a little too 'Oh My God' kind of thing. Someone had to do it and I guess Sailor Mercury was just closer.

Some of her powers are:

• Mercury (Star) Power- She says these to transform into Sailor Mercury.
• Mercury Bubbles Blast- When she says this she shoots out hundreds of bubbles blinding her opponents.
• Mercury Ice Bubbles Freeze- When she says this she freezes her opponents solid.
• Shine Aqua Illusion- This is one of her stronger attacks. When spoken she shoots out a big blast of water stuning, and freezing her attackers.
• Shabbon Spray- One more attack similar to Shine Aqua Illusion.
• Mercury Aqua Rhapsody- One of Super Sailor Mercury's powerful attacks. She uses her aquatic harp to use this attack, which is much stronger then her other attacks.

Sailor Mercury as a little mini computer that is very powerful. The computer is used to find weaknesses and strengths of the opponents. It also helps with attack stradegies and analysis of all evil.

Also a final note. In the Manga Sailor Mercury and Zoicite were once lovers. I know its hard to believe because Zoicite is now in love with Kunzite(Malachite). This is hard to believe if you are reading this for the first time, but Zoicite is acctually a man. When changing the show over to english, the DiC company changed HIM to a HER.
