20.  GEORGE VICTOR7 WEISERT (WILLIAM JACOB6, GUSTAV ADOLPH5, CAROLINE RUDOLPINA LOUISE4, FRIEDRICH WILHELM3, CHRISTIAN RUDOLPH2, JAKOB MELCHIOR1) was born February 22, 1933 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio.  He married DOROTHY ANN SMILA June 01, 1955 in Angola, Steuben County, Indiana, daughter of ANTHONY SMILA and IDA WASKIEWICZ.  She was born December 03, 1936 in Wheeling, Ohio County, West Virginia.

George retired from the federal government.  His title was Quality Assurance Representative/ Nuclear. He retired from  Wal-Mart (or Wally World as he calls it) in 2005 after six years of employment.

He likes fishing, gardening and being an agitator.  He told me to say that last one and it is true.

Awarded the Medal of Honor from the grateful nation, The Republic of Korea, and presented
by The House Creek-Midland Valley Veterans and its Korean War 50th Anniversary
Commemorative Committee, for his participation in the Korean War.  A true Hero!

The Korean Medal of Honor was presented to George on 6-25-2000.  He also received the
Korean War Service Medal, which was issued to him on 6-25-2000 also but was mailed to him.

He also received Citizenship Award of the Year when he attended Euclid Senior High School.

Dorothy retired from the CSRA Federal Credit Union.  Her title when she left was Vice President of Lending

She worked for H & R Block for two tax seasons after retiring from the credit union
She now enjoys retirement.

Dorothy likes fishing, gardening, walking, playing games on the computer and surfing the Internet and playing with grandchildren.
