He married DIANE MARIE JAZBEC December 18, 1954 in Euclid, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, daughter of VICTOR JAZBEC and DOROTHY ZALETE. She was born December 18, 1935 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio. |
Notes for RICHARD GAYLE WEISERT: Richard worked for Monarch Aluminum with his brothers Bill and George, but decided to enlist in the U.S. Army on September 28, 1950, and served during the Korean War. He was honorably discharged on September 26, 1953, with the Good Conduct Metal, United Nations Medal, and the R.O.K.P.U.C. Metal, to mention just a few. US ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS 28 Sept 1950 - 26 Sept 1953 01 Sept 1954 - 30 Aug 1957 Over Seas Duties Japan and Korea Richard returned to Monarch Aluminum after the War, but enlisted in the Army again on September 1, 1954. Richard and Diane left Ohio and moved to Virginia in June of 1956, where he was stationed with the Army, at Fort Belvoir. He was honorably discharged on Aug 31, 1957. Richard stayed with the government, in The Department of Army, and in September 1973, he was promoted to The Defense Logistics Agency. In June 1979, he was transferred to Kennesaw Georgia and retired on January 2, 1989, where their children are now raising their families. He now enjoys helping his son James with his Landscaping Business, bowling, and can name all the birds they feed in their yard. |
Notes for DIANE MARIE JAZBEC: Diane has a successful catering business, with help from her family, has catered many wedding receptions and bakes specialty cakes. She catered the receptions for each of her children, also her niece Pamela Hall's wedding reception in Ohio. Her baking has become well established, she now bakes specially cakes, and makes food for many parties, wedding receptions, and many other occasions. This keeps her very busy, and she takes pride in the quality of baking. |
