Path of the Magi
The Magi are a unique and mysterious part of The Kingdom of Inethria. His studies take decades if not a life time to master. His powers arise from his study, based on innate talent, rather than occurring entirely spontaneously. His gift is something special and is what separates him apart from the vast majority of others. He will typically discover an ability to manipulate energy at a young age and will seek further knowledge, or ignore it and lose it forever. The Magi's abilities and area of study differs amongst their ranks. One may choose to master the blade for melee combat while another will devote himself entirely to the magics. There is certainly variance amongst the Magi; however, each shares a mutual love and obsession with spells. Unlike a warrior, the Magi show little commodore at first. This does not mean they do not get along with others or each other. It means they are more apt to independence. It takes months and even years for a Magi to be accepted into a group. But, once accepted, the Magi have no closer friends than each other and will often depend on one another for knowledge, love, friendship and even companionship.

There are mainly two forms of Magi in Inethria: the
'Warrior Mage' and the 'Wizard'. The Warrior Mage incorporates warrior-type skills and abilities into his studies of magic. He will often be a skilled fighter and will divide his studies between melee and magic. The Wizard, on the other hand, devotes his entire efforts to the magics and will rarely be seen with a weapon in hand other than a type of staff or his bare fists. He will rely solely on his ability to manipulate the forces around him to use for both offense and defense.
