GUN CONTROL:
The theory that a woman found dead in an alley,
raped and strangled with her panty hose, is somehow morally superior to
a woman explaining to police how her attacker got that fatal bullet wound.

Where is Gun Control in
Canada Headed?
In 1994, an English homeowner, armed with a toy gun, managed
to detain two burglars who had broken into his house, while he called the
police. When the officers arrived they arrested the homeowner for using
an imitation gun to put someone in fear. Parliament is now considering
making imitation guns illegal.

R.J. Rummel's book, Death by Government (ISBN
1-56000-145-3), reveals that during the 20th Century, in countries
where "only the police and military" may own military-style assault weapons,
about 4,650 innocent citizens were killed PER DAY by their OWN police and
military. Hmmm.... Even after adjusting for the fact that the Canada is
only about 1/250th the world population, and even if you include all other
firearms (which are much more commonly used by criminals than the 'evil'
assault weapons), a 20th Century Earthling still was about five times more
likely to be killed by his government, than by a criminal. Failure to grasp
this simple truth reveals that the "enlightened" among us who want to compromise,
and develop "reasonable" further gun control laws..." — Anonynous |

WHY
THE ONTARIO SPRING BEAR HUNT MUST BE REINSTATED
ATTENTION ALL HANDGUN OWNERS
Word has it, that the U.S. Government
is buying up ALL the 9mm Ammo for their use from the manufacturers. This
means that NO 9mm Ammo will be available until late December, and
possibly into 2003.. Federal, Remington, and Winchester Reps. in Canada
are already out of 9mm and this could affect other Caliber's as well..
For Absolutely NO information

press 1 (for English) press 2 (for registration, information, or application
status). Although they DO apologize for not being able to take your
call, they make no apology for the BILLION DOLLARS wasted on this FARCE..
Hell, they can't even keep up on the phones, what will they do if the OTHER
Ten Million firearms ever show up.. you know.. the ones they are currently
ignoring to make their dismal figures look a bit better. I know people
who have been dialling that number for WEEKS without ANY success. And STILL
the Feds. blithely prattle on about how "The system is working well"
Perhaps this should give people an idea of how well this entire government
is working.
Klein
warns of Alberta separatism
Mr. Klein said the Prime Minister has "no clue" what the impact
of Kyoto will be and how unfair it is. For instance, even if technologies
are developed that eliminate all emissions from coal- and gas-fired
electrical generators, Canada will get no credit for that under the
treaty, he said. Canada also gets insufficient credit for its huge forestry
resource, which eliminates carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, the Premier
said. Even more unfair, he said, Quebec will not be penalized under Kyoto
even though it plans to flood vast tracts of forested lands to build hydroelectric
dams using enormous quantities of cement. "I don't want to pick on Quebec,
but they will be destroying millions and millions of trees and forested
land to create the power and there's no evironmental penalty for this under
this deal? That's why Bernard Landry [the Quebec Premier] wants Ottawa
to sign Kyoto," Mr. Klein said. "At least he's honest about the reason
why. I'm at an absolute loss as to why they would
do this knowing there are going to be very serious impacts. Why are they
doing it? To curry favour with the international community or is it to
make the Prime Minister feel good?"(The 'Prime
Minister' Does not give a shit about your jobs, He has one, and one hell
of a pension also at our expense. This entire Kyoto thing is being pushed
forward by those with nothing to loose. The entire plan is flawed, and
unfair. There is NO WAY this 'Tree Hugger Manifesto' should be ratified,
until it is completely reworked for Canadians, and put forward by someone
who does NOT have a world wide reputation for 'Fuzzy Logic")
Misguided
criminal reform
As things stand, the code requires that, for example, a defendant
convicted of a violent crime involving a gun must serve at least four
years in prison. Mr. Cauchon reportedly wants to loosen the minimumsnd
give judges more discretion.(STILL the very first
thing thrown out in any criminal trial is the "Gun Charge". The feds have
spent a BILLION dollars on a completely ridiculous gun control system targeting
ONLY the law abiding, and the courts are largely ignoring the minimum sentences
for crimes involving a firearm.)
Modern
day gunslingers
Not quite so obsessive are the female gunslingers. Some of the best
are inexplicably Canadian, such as 16-year-old Nicole Frank from B.C. who
won the tournament last year. Her mom, Peggy, tagged along at fist because
dad competed but now they win more often than he does. (In
spite of Canada's hoplophobic government and their stupid 'gun control'
laws, Quick draw, and Cowboy Action Shooting are 'still' Alive and well..
Which is more than can be said for the greater part of the CFC)
Smuggler's
alley is no easy street
For generations guns, drugs, money, contraband booze and cigarettes
have been moving back and forth across the river and through the Mohawk
Indian lands that straddle the border. People smuggling is a recent addition
to the mix. The next logical step is to put officers from one country on
board boats from the other. Mixed federal-provincial-municipal crews are
already routine on the Canadian side. But firearms laws in Canada and the
U.S. are a barrier to police moving back and forth quickly with their guns.
Ottawa and Washington are trying to iron out the weapons problem. "When
the governments come through and give us that cross jurisdiction, just
watch how the gloves come off," Insp. McDonell said.(Well,
don't hold your breath! As long as the liberals are in power, the 'gun-o-phobes'
will feel that allowing an exchange of armed police to prevent smuggling
and terrorist plots, will only increase the level of violence. And besides,
guns are dangerous, the officers are likely to injure themselves.)
'Another'
600 Million Dollar Liberal Computer System to Be Scrapped
Local technology executives are worried the federal government is
set to shelve its multibillion-dollar Government Online project in Monday's
speech from the throne. Sources familiar with the GOL project have
told the Ottawa Business Journal the project will likely be postponed in
favour of other projects such as the Kyoto Protocol as the Liberals announce
their political and spending priorities. Already, local technology
companies have been lamenting the project's slow progress and its dwindling
amount of work since it was launched in March 2001. ('Jean
the Weasel', bent on leaving his "Liberal Legacy" of a debt riddled
Canadian economy, will stop at nothing to push through his personal agendas.
His agenda seems to be wiping out hundreds of thousands of jobs by not
phasing in the 'Kyoto thing',while destroying our military, and disarming
Canadians from with-in. Perhaps he feels that someone who is 'unemployed,
disarmed, and debt ridden will not be as much of a danger to him in the
future)
Canada's
case against Saddam
Canadian celebrities(?)such as Margaret Atwood, Pierre Berton and
David Suzuki have also spoken out against a war with Iraq, arguing it would
be immoral and there is scant proof Saddam is stockpiling weapons of mass
destruction.(Also see: Don't
they ever get tired of being wrong?) Canadian celebrities(?) such as
Margaret Atwood, Pierre Berton and David Suzuki are 'liabilities' as far
as Canadian security is concerned.. Write fiction, Canadian History, Study

Preparedness, and Canadian Security Operations. Furthermore, lets not pretend
that you are!)
Canada
has led naval search for al-Qaeda'
"The navy and the air force are understandably disappointed to not
have had that much media coverage," says Brigadier-General Michel Gauthier,
who commands the Canadian task force from his base at U.S. Central Command
in Tampa, Fla. "But it is not an overstatement to say that Canada has led
the coalition's naval search for al-Qaeda and Taliban members over the
last 11 months."(Canadians are just as proud of
their sailors, and airmen as they are of their soldiers. The ONLY embarrassment
Canadian have of for their military, is the result of
flagrant dereliction by the Liberal Government. Give our military the tools
they need, and they will return Canada to the internationally proud country
our parents and grandparents fought two wars for. )

Children as young as two years old should be given blows with a

testified Thursday. The woman's words produced angry whispers throughout
the public gallery at the trial where a former Roman Catholic nun
and the head of the commune, Lucille Poulin, is facing five charges of
assaulting children between the ages of 8 and 14.(I'm
sorry, but the church seems to be looking more and more like a big bowl

Customs

"Mr. Moran said.Management continues to see us in the role of tax
collectors," Mr. Moran said. "The fact is our role has evolved to a point
where a large part of our focus is on public security. Our job has moved
more and more into law enforcement. Management feels they are being dragged
by the collar into law enforcement, and they're fighting all the way by
trying to keep us at the level of tax collectors"(The
government feels that if they were deemed as "law enforcement officers"
they would rightly demand to be armed. And as every Liberal knows, the
LAST thing the liberal government seems to want is armed personnel, anyplace
where terrorists might show themselves, such as the border, or on a aircraft
in flight.. Guns are dangerous, and the officers would only hurt themselves.
Remember, guns are designed to kill, and it's only an unfortunate, embarrassing
political side effect, that they save more lives than they take!)
Gun
squad credited with falling murder rate
Toronto police are crediting the work of a new gun task force with
a 27 per cent decline in the number of murders this year. Clarke says the
decline is good news and suggests the creation of a Toronto Police
Services gun task force has helped cut the numbers of killings. He said
last year at this time, half of the city's murders had been committed with
firearms. In response, some police resources were shifted to create a gun
squad. "We saw there was a problem, and tried to solve it,'' said
Clarke. Fourteen of the city's murders (42 per cent) this year have been
shootings, an overall decrease of nine slayings. (This
is what happens when the 'police' get a chance to go after the 'illegal'
firearms in Toronto. Unlike the Feds. who are blowing a BILLION dollars
targeting hunters and target shooters that are 'clearly' NOT the problem
with firearms related killings, but 'hey' it sure 'makes' it look like
their doing something.. Particularly to the ignorant masses..)
Orphaned
bear cubs faring well heading into winter
Bear cubs are often orphaned because of hunting or environmental
conditions such as drought. Last year,
a record 200 orphans, some of them starving, were rescued in Ontario.(Before
the 'political' cancellation of the spring bear hunt, the 'Disneyites'
insisted it was to prevent orphaned bear cubs that numbered about 27 per
year! Wildlife Biologists predicted the result we are getting today.
a minimum of 16,000 additional bears are now roaming Ontario Cottage Country,
and their numbers are increasing by a minimum of 4000 every year. These
are the bears that would have been harvested in during the spring bear
hunt. .. It's amazing no one has been killed 'yet'.. Ontario has no grizzlies,
but the general rule is : If a bear is 'brown' lie down, if a bear is 'black'
fight back, if a bear is 'white' put your head as far between your knees
as you can, then 'kiss your ass goodbye'.. The rule says nothing about
what to do if the 'black' bear that's stalking you is actually 'brown'
in colour, and there's lots of them out there.)
Two
teenage girls held after Mississauga knife attack on driver
"This wasn't a robbery. They were on a mission to kill someone,"

are in for a severe slap on the wrist from the 'revised' Young Offenders
Act... When their back on the street in a few months, you can be assured
they will be better people for it, and society will be much safer .. Don't
forget to thank a Liberal!!)
We
Must Stop Baseball Bat Violence!
A Message from the Coalition to Stop Bat Violence. (Formerly known
as the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence).
Setting: The Year 2020, six months after the last privately-owned
gun was found and destroyed. We have finally made All Americans (including
intruders) Safe from Gun Violence in Americans' Homes. But we must continue
our struggle to make All Americans safe from Violence in homes and businesses,
and on the streets.(If the more 'gullible'
Canadians keep voting in the Liberals, Canada will be in this position
FAR sooner than Americans... Another Canadian 'First' Eh!)
Canada
ready to participate in new NATO force
McCallum says Canada could commit several hundred troops. He's confident
the Canadian military can do this, despite already being stretched. The
defence minister says allies such as Britain may help Canada with equipment
and personnel. But Benoit says the Canadian military shouldn't have to
go begging to other armies.(No, it shouldn't 'have'
to go begging, but the Liberals have made sure that our military is capable
of inflicting as little damage as possible on any assailant. It's the Liberal
way! A direct reflection of the liberal ideology that It's much better
to be beaten, robbed, raped, and humiliated than to have something as dangerous
as a gun in your house. After all, you may hurt yourself!)
STATISTICS
CANADA TELLS US WHAT’S KILLING CANADIANS
(Linked from garrybreitkreuz.com)
*One man is murdered with a firearm every 3 days. One woman
is murdered with a firearm every 9 days.
*One man is murdered with a knife every 5 days. One woman
is murdered with a knife every 10 days.
“Do you suppose that any of these men and women cared what
kind of weapon their murderer used to kill them?” asked Breitkreuz.
“Clearly, the problem isn’t a shortage of weapons for the murderers or
whether the weapons were registered with the government or not. What
will everyone say ten years from now when we’ve spent $2 billion registering
legally-owned guns and hundreds of men and women are still being murdered
every year? In 1999, the Library of Parliament determined that police
reported just over 291,000 incidents of violent crime but the “Use of a
Firearm in Violent Incidents” was only 1.4%. Canadians should be
asking the government what they’re doing to stop violent crime -- not how
many legally-owned guns they have registered,” concluded Breitkreuz. (It's
CLEAR, the goal is NOT safety, but rather a attempt at pure social engineering,
and people control)
Chrétien's
state of denial is dangerous
This is between the Americans and the terrorists. It's not about
us. To believe this requires a huge suspension of disbelief and more than
a little ignorance, since it requires discounting the reality that al-Qaeda
and their allies have attacked German tourists in Tunisia, plotted to ram
jetliners into the Eiffel Tower and the British parliament, conspired to
poison entire neighbourhoods in Rome, and tried to plant bombs in Montreal.
(Yes, Prime Minister Chrétien, that's in Canada.) It also demands
that we believe that the Sept. 11 attacks were about poverty, of all things,
and not the desperate efforts of demented extremists to destroy a culture
and a way of life they cannot abide. The stubborn liberal faith that there
are "root causes" of acts that are plainly evil dies hard, if at all.(Chrétien,
with his head stuck firmly up his ass, blunders forward ignoring all the
evidence around him. Firmly believing the world can be just one big happy
place, and nothing is 'really' wrong.. It has to make sane people wonder
why anyone would follow this man. Except for perhaps, out of idle curiosity!)
Gun
Control Works? Spousal homicides up for first time in 6 years
Firearms were involved in 31 per cent of all homicides in 2001,
a proportion consistent with previous years. Of the 171 firearms-related
homicides, 110 were committed with a handgun, 46 with a rifle or shotgun,
seven with a sawed-off rifle or shotgun, three with a fully automatic firearm,
and five with another type of firearm.(Well, let
see... 64.3% of all homicides were committed with handguns, and handguns
have been registered for well over 60 years, sawed off rifles and shotguns
are outright illegal, and 1.75% were killed by fully automatic weapons,
that are either illegal, or owned by collectors.. I'll bet that NONE of
those weapons were owned by a collector at the time of use! So, the number
of people murdered with a legal 'type'(?) rifle, or shotgun is actually
only 46 out of a population of 30 Million people or, .00015% .. that's
also 0.15 people per 100,000 population killed by the type of firearm the
liberals have spent a BILLION dollars to protect us from.. Money well spent?
I think NOT)
Gun
registry confusion high
(Linked from garrybreitkreuz.com)
The entire system is on the verge of proving just how much of a
failure it has become. If the country is to have it, then it is time to
fix it and make sure it is fair. And if that can't be done, and quickly,
it is time to rethink the whole approach which is costing millions of dollars
and achieving very little. From the start, it has not been clear that the
system will achieve what the government claims it will. Why have it, then,
when the end result is endless frustration and aggravation for innocent
citizens? (Ahhh do I hear the sound of a 'flushing'
toilet?)
Serial
numbers missing from 700,000 registered firearms
(Linked from garrybreitkreuz.com)
Vital serial numbers have not been recorded for more than 700,000
firearms registered under the federal
government's Firearms Act, internal documents reveal. To make
up for the missing information, the Canadian
Firearms Centre is mailing the gun owners numbered stickers, or
"stickies" as the gun owners call them, to put
on their rifles and shotguns. Critics of the federal gun registry
say the lack of serial numbers for at least 728,046 firearms, out of 4.4
million guns registered so far, destroys the integrity of the system, threatens
public safety and could make it impossible for police to trace stolen guns
or guns used in crime. (The registration of firearms
has nothing to do with safety anyway. The CFC admits that Safety is mitigated
by licensing, it is not a registration issue. I have a shotgun that is
so old and worn, that I can't even make out the serial number. Most old
cooeys never had one, and I'll bet there are thousands of winchesters registered
with the serial number of 1894, and other old .22's registered as #S,L,LR..
And the waste goes on..)
End
the billion-dollar gun registry boondoggle
(Linked from garrybreitkreuz.com)
Something appears to have gone drastically wrong at the national
gun registry in July, but it is difficult to find
anyone who will admit it. No, let me rephrase that: Lots of
people inside and outside the registry will admit
something went wrong. Rather, there are conflicting reports over
how drastic the foul-up was, and whether it was out of the ordinary. Several
gun owners -- scores, if not hundreds or even thousands -- received letters
this
summer asking them to re-register firearms they had already registered.
One source, a senior Liberal staffer on Parliament Hill, insists this was
made necessary by a "huge crash of the processing computers," sometime
in early July. He also insists the crash wiped out "thousands" of firearms
records entered into the computers around or just after Christmas -- more
like tens of thousands. (Sort of makes you think
that registering your guns in this 'quagmire' is a waste of time anyway!)

Home of the Free, and The Language Police
QUEBEC CITY - At least 120 businesses have been charged this year
for violating Quebec's language law, according to officials for the Office
de la langue francaise. The number of prosecutions has been growing steadily,
with just 103 in 2001 and 92 in the year 2000. The government has been
accused of being lax about applying the law in the past.(The
'Politically Correct Law' (which
is in all likelihood just around the corner) will be administered
Along with the department of Silly Walks, by the 'fantastic' CFC once they
have licensed and registered the guns of 'all' 2.5 million
Canadian gun owners(hahahahaha)
Drop
in murder rate called an illusion
Murder rates would be five times higher if it were not for recent
medical advances, say researchers who claim national homicide statistics
hide how violent society really is. Statistics Canada reported last year
the nation's homicide rate of 1.8 per 100,000 people is one of the lowest
since the 1960s. In the United States, the homicide rate in 1998 was 25%
lower than it was in 1931, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Over the same period, however, the aggravated assault rate increased by
700%. "It is a cat and mouse game. The 'gangbangers' are searching for
ever-more lethal weaponry. They are making these guns [for war] but they
are selling them to testosterone-poisoned kids in the middle of inner cities.
(Liberals have spent a BILLION DOLLARS targeting the 'law abiding' firearms
owner. If they had spent the same billion targeting the real
problem of illegal firearms and the court system, maybe they would have
had a 'real' drop in firearm crime. What this country needs is MORE police
chasing MORE criminals. What the liberals have given us is MORE bureaucrats
pushing MORE paper and wasting MORE money that ever before, and because
that billion dollars 'could' have went to health care and medical research,
YOUR even LESS safe than before!)
Huge
rally defends U.K. fox hunting
LONDON - More than 300,000 people concerned about the needs of Britain's
rural communities marched through the streets of London Sunday. The
demonstration was spurred by government plans to ban hunting with dogs
in England and Wales. But the marchers are also concerned about a number
of issues they say are at the heart of rural life. Polls show most Britons
oppose the hunt, however, and Rural Affairs Minister Alun Michael said
earlier Sunday that new proposals on hunting would be brought forward within
weeks. (Like MOST other countries, MOST of the people
live in cities, and have nothing to do with hunting. THIS is why polls
favour the banning of any hunt. It's the 'Disney Syndrome' of stupidly
adding human characteristics to animals, and feeding this fairy tale to
the even the stupider people, that believe these characteristics to be
true)
Millions
owed to disabled veterans
TORONTO -- The feds will owe at least $657 million in interest to
disabled war veterans and their heirs if it fails to quash a lawsuit before
the Supreme Court, a new government report says. The court found
the government failed to pay interest on the pensions, benefits and estates
it managed for up to 35,000 veterans deemed "incompetent". The government
tried but failed to convince a judge any award for interest should be limited
to surviving veterans -- of which there are less than 1,000. Lawyers will
return to court Oct. 28 to argue the second part of the lawsuit, which
claims the government confiscated millions from the accounts of vets upon
their deaths. (Who else but 'this' government, could
deliver the final insult to the thousands of men and women that sacificed
a 'normal' life for our country! )
Ottawa
studies $1,000 Kyoto rebates
Ottawa — Ottawa is eyeing a proposal to offer Canadians rebates
of up to $1,000 if they retrofit their homes to make them more energy efficient,
federal officials say. Senior officials say Ottawa will sell the plan,
which includes more than $5-billion in federal spending over five years,
as having "less than a 1-per-cent impact" on Canada's economy. But
that still means it could cost Canada as much as $11-billion based on a
$1.1-trillion economy. (Blahh..Blahh..Blahh.. More
smoke and mirrors from Ottawa.. 'Vote for us and we'll give you a $1000
to stick foam around the windows in your apartment' Just like the heating
oil rebate that went to people that don't even own, or pay for heating
equipment.., Just like the 1977 CHiP grants to insulate homes, they paid
out all that money, but the record keeping was so poor they have no idea
of any effect.. Just like the 4 BILLION wasted by the HRDC on 'other'
harebrained schemes.. Anyone who believes ANY financial plans from this
Government needs their head examined.. Remember, the Firearms Centre is
now (according to their figures)
900 MILLION DOLLARS over budget, and STILL climbing, while offering NO
return on the taxpayers dollar.)
Terror
suspects spent $100,000 in casino
HAMILTON — Two members of an alleged Al Qaeda cell arrested
in Buffalo last week spent at least $100,000 (U.S.) at Casino Niagara in
what Ontario officials suspect were money-laundering attempts.
(Don't these idiots know, that the only people that hit the jackpot, particularly
at Niagara, are ALWAYS sitting next to me! At least thats the way
it always happens when I'm there!... I think it's a rule!)
Bring
Out Your Dead... And Register their Guns..
Ottawa will have to start looking at tombstones if it wants a dead
Edmonton man to register his guns, says the grandson of the deceased.
"It's a joke, a mockery, this whole registration system," Randy Schultz
said yesterday. "If they find (my dead grandfather), they're more than
welcome to arrest him." Canadian Firearms Centre spokesman David Austin
said letters are being sent out to verify data being moved from the
old paper-based restricted firearms registry to the new computerized one.
He said the letter was sent to Orser because his family probably never
told authorities about a change. Not so, Schultz said. After
his grandfather died, Schultz said he took the handgun to Edmonton RCMP,
who sent the handgun to a Yukon relative. The relative later gave the handgun
to an Edmonton-area collector who deactivated the firearm. Again, the RCMP
moved the handgun. Austin said it wasn't incumbent on the police
under the old registration system to notify Ottawa about such a change.
(I
don't think there is a single collector in Canada that has not run into
some absurd bit of information on what they currently own, or don't own
according to the jumble of misinformation in the federal "dogs dinner"
they call a firearms registry. Their biggest problem now, is getting someone
to actually take their call at the Firearms NO information Centre
@1-800-731-4000, but they ARE sorry.. As a matter of fact, the whole
department is a sorry mess..)
Canadian
looking for Saddam's bombs
The only Canadian in the United Nations weapons inspection agency
says it could take at least 10 months to know for sure whether Iraq possess
weapons of mass destruction. "It's a massive, massive project," Ronald
Cleminson told the Citizen yesterday in an interview. "But I would say,
as I read the time frames, probably within 10 months, if they have full
co-operation."(Gee it's too bad that Sadam cannot
be treated the same way as a honest Canadian Citizen can be treated under
the Liberal's Firearms act. If a Canadian does NOT help the officers
brandishing the search warrant, by incriminating themselves and
leading them to any firearms they may have, they can languish in prison
for years.. This is the law!! Although, it clearly violates the constitution,
the Liberals don't care, and 'won't' care until the inevitable defeat in
a REAL court of law. )
Tories
do election dance around spring bear hunt
Take the case of the minister and the bears which played itself
out last week. In search of good news ; to take to the Hunting and Outdoor
Show in Toronto, the minister's (or premier's) staff came up with a nuisance
bear panel. Three years ago, in a pre-election moved that stunned
the outdoor community, natural resources minister John Snobelen pulled
the pin on Ontario's spring bear hunt. Policy advisors to the premier
apparently said that cancelling the spring hunt with no notice, just before
the season opened, would be a flash-in-the-pan issue ... a 90 day wonder
that would blow over. Some flash, some pan. It still rankles in the
north and'much of rural Ontario. It still galls conaervationists who believe
that sound science and sustainable development should rule when it comes
to wildlife management. (The reduction of 4000 harvested
spring bears every year, has meant a 16,000 bear increase in the last four
years. Bears are being seen in areas that have not seen bears for a hundred
years. There have been over 40 times as many orphaned or dead cubs confirmed
in the last four years than in the previous four, and THIS was the reason
the 'Disneyites' wanted the hunt cancelled in the first place. Ontario,
a prime example of politics over sound wildlife management policies, and
where 'everybody' will loose particularly the bears!)
OLD
FAC SYSTEM HAD A BETTER RATE OF FIREARM LICENCE REFUSALS THAN THE NEW BILLION-DOLLAR
GUN REGISTRY
(From garrybreitkreuz.com): A letter to a constituent
by Justice Minister Anne McLellan dated January 5, 2001 stated: “In addition,
since December 1, 2001, public safety authorities have revoked 1,248 valid
FACs or firearms licences. That figure is significant because it
is more than 21 times higher than the total for the past five years and
is a direct result of the new system’s capacity to link up-to-date public
safety information more effectively. These cases would not have been
identified if the new program was not in place.” --- A letter to Ray Hynes
of Carbonear, Nfld by Justice Minister Martin Cauchon dated June 7, 2002
stated: “In addition, since the introduction of the Firearms Act, there
has been a significant increase in the number of firearms licences revoked
by public safety authorities. This substantive increase is a direct
result of the new system’s capacity to link up-to-date public safety information
more effectively. These cases would not have been identified if the
new program was not in place.” (Oh yes.. Not only
are both ministers using the same 'propaganda type' form letter, they are
also both WRONG. From a .079 refusal rate 1979 - 1999 to a 0.35%
in 1999 to 2000, and .038% as of May 4th 2002. In other words, the old
FAC system had OVER TWICE the refusal rate of the farce the government
is currently shilling..)

in the book." She also said Groupaction didn't appear to have
done all the work paid for under the contracts. Groupaction has contributed
more than $100,000 to the Liberal party. A
Commons committee report on the Groupaction contracts due out this fall
could die because of the government's decision to prorogue Parliament and
begin a new session. (A desperate attempt
to curtail the presentation of facts to the Canadian people by a corrupt
and dishonest government..)
OTTAWA
- The federal government posted a budget deeficit of $128 million for the
month of July.
The department says in its financial highlights for July that revenues
were down $1.1 billion from a year ago, and spending was up by $800 million.
(And
of course, the Firearms registry having wasted 1 BILLION DOLLARS of your
tax money had nothing to do with this 'yet another' liberal created deficit..
Keep voting liberal, and pretty soon we won't even have a country to worry
about!)
Americans
Agree, Our 'Snipers' are Very..Very.. Good
Staff Sergeant Justin Shaffer, 27, a sniper
section leader with the U.S. Army's 501st Airborne Regiment, acknowledges
that his Canadian counterparts are among the best he has seen. "They have
an excellent program here," he says. "These guys are very, very good."Staff
Sgt. Shaffer, whose team finished second among the 13 competing in Gagetown
last week, said he has learned a lot from watching the Canadian system.
Elite
Sniper corps draws shy, levelheaded personalities
C.F.B. GAGETOWN, N.B. - They can stalk through
enemy territory like ghosts, blend in with the terrain until they are all
but invisible, lie patiently in wait for hours in the worst weather and
then shoot someone from more than two kilometres away. Snipers are one
of the elites of the Canadian army, a small, closely knit group of soldiers
trained to kill enemy troops at great distances. But snipers bristle at
suggestions that they are cold-blooded killers.(This
must embarrass the hell out of the Liberals.. A party of 'do-nothing
doves' that has financially squeezed most of our military into underfunded
obscurity. )
Ethics
Counsellor Abandons Party with no Ethics
Federal Ethics Counsellor Howard Wilson will not seek
reappointment after eight years in the job, a spokeswoman in his office
confirmed Wednesday morning. If reappointed, Mr. Wilson would have spent
another five years as the Prime Minister's Ethics Counsellor.(And
we all know ethics counselling is not a job of any importance within the
Liberal Government.)
Manley
denies GST hike
OTTAWA (CP) — Finance Minister John Manley says he'd "rather jump
off the Peace Tower than raise the GST."(He may have
to! The Chrétien plan: Deny the increase, then put it in the next
budget.. The Budget will be defeated in a vote, which will be a 'non confidence
vote' in the government. This will force the call of an election while
Chrétien is still leader of the Liberals. That will effectively
eliminate all of his competition until 'after' another election. Remember,
this is all about personal power and has nothing to do with the 'good'
of the country. As long as the Liberals think they have nothing to fear
from any opposition, they will do what ever the hell they like, and YOU
will have to just live with it!)
Police
seize guns, drugs in crime bust
A 16-month investigation into organized crime in Ontario has netted
$10 million worth of Uzi sub-machine guns, cash and drugs including
ecstasy that was intended for rave clubs, York Region police will announce
today. The investigation involved police from Toronto, York and Peel as
well the Ontario Provincial Police's organized crime section, the
RCMP's proceeds of crime unit and Canada Customs officials.(Do
you see 'anywhere' that the Liberal Farce known as the CFC had a hand in
this at all? Nope.. They probably couldn't have reached them at the 800
number anyway. It seems as if NO ONE is home. All Calls to the Toll
Free CFC Line are routed to a answering machine telling you they can't
take the call, and then a sudden 'disconnect' I have friends that have
been trying for weeks, with no sucess. Word also has it that the general
feeling at the RCMP, is this whole useless farce will go down in flames
shortly.. Keep your fingers crossed. )
Canada's
Military Said to be on 'Verge of Collapse'(CNSNews
International)
"Since Sept. 11 (2001), all of the
polls have shown that the Canadian public has been unified on a need for
increased military spending," said Rob Huebert. "But we have a government
that simply refuses to give the opinions of Canadians any adherence. You
get the sense they are just waiting, crossing their fingers that there
are no further strikes, and hoping they can go back to business as usual,
which is, of course, a very ill-conceived attitude." Granatstein attributes
the lack of military spending, in part, to a culture in which the armed
forces are not well profiled or highly valued in mainstream culture. "Canadians
don't know much about their military, and they don't know how weak it is,"
he said. "On the other hand, they think of themselves as being the best
friend of the U.S. They don't seem to see that being as weak as we are,
we are losing sovereignty, and that the Americans will make the decisions
whether we like it or not."(This is
the TRUE Legacy of the Liberal Government, and there are an incredible
number of voters that are too stupid to see this! Chrétien
will NOT support the military until a HUGE number of Canadians are killed
in a homeland attack. Hell, at this point I would vote for the Marijuana
party to get rid of the Liberals. At least we know why they have
'their' head in the clouds)
Canadian
Customs Officers Want To Carry Guns
(CNSNews.com) - The labor
union representing Canada's customs officers wants the government to give
those officers permission to carry guns. The Customs Excise Union says
a recent report of "critical incidents" includes more than 100 "life-threatening"
cases where officers have encountered fleeing felons, altercations with
gang members, and heavily armed travellers at the border.(There
is a WAR on the horizon. Our Customs Officers ARE the first line of defence.
THEY SHOULD BE ARMED. The liberal government is just going to have
to accept the fact that their criminal coddling policies, as well as a
'let em all in' attitude of immigration, has decreased the level of safety
for ALL Canadians. Firearms, and a broader attitude towards self defence
are going to become a part of our culture whether 'they' like it or not.
The Police can NOT be everywhere at once, and 911 calls, except in the
rarest of occasions, NEVER result in the prevention of a crime, and/or
injury to the victim. ..)
Happy
Holidays! IRAQ WILL HAVE THE BOMB BY CHRISTMAS
IRAQ could have a nuclear bomb by Christmas and the power to launch
strikes against Western states, according to new evidence. The Times
newspaper said Iraq could be months from producing nuclear weapons with
pirated German equipment and uranium smuggled from Brazil. The claims
are made by Dr Khidir Hamza, a former science adviser to the Atomic Energy
Establishment in Iraq who helped start its nuclear bomb program before
defecting in 1994. "The beauty of the present system is that the
units are each very small and in the four years since the inspectors left
they will have been concealed underground or in basements or buildings
that outwardly seem normal," Dr Hamza said. Dr Hamza gave warning
that UN inspections would be useless because even if inspectors were given
unfettered access they would find it far more difficult than before
to detect the nuclear assembly line. (This news item
is from Australia, who of course still have an military, and say
"America has no better friend in the world than Australia". While 'our'
prime minister is still waiting for a 'proof'. As he said in his
speech, "A Proof is a Proof"... and will come to pass, unless the proof
is shown to an ass, the ass of course can be found on a horse, and the
famous Mr. Jean...)
THE
THIEVING, LYING, LIBERALS WHO'S ORIGINAL ELECTION PLATFORM WAS TO ELIMINATE
THE G.S.T., ARE NOW PLANNING TO HIKE IT TO 10%
OTTAWA (CP) — The federal government is considering an increase
in the Goods and Services Tax to 10 per cent from seven per cent to pay
for health-care reform proposals contained in the upcoming Romanow commission
report, Montreal La Presse reported today. Such an increase would
raise $9 billion in revenue annually. It is one of several scenarios being
studied by federal officials, the newspaper said.(Can
anyone say "Expanded underground economy"? Sure...I knew you could! The
Liberals have wasted BILLIONS directly related to fiscal incompetence,
patronage spending, and just plain waste, on unworkable programs like the
CFC which we have seen bloat from the liberal lie of a 85 million dollar
cost, to over the ONE BILLION DOLLARS squandered to date on this farce
alone!
In a time of unprecedented prosperity, these clowns are on their way to
deficit spending again. Their answer to everything? RAISE TAXES in a time
when taxes SHOULD be going down. The Chrétien Legacy? DEFICIT, RECORD
PATRONAGE APPOINTMENTS & SPENDING, CORRUPTION, THE MOST DICTATORIAL
TOP DOWN GOVERNMENT IN CANADIAN HISTORY, INCREDIBLE WASTE, MILITARY INSIGNIFICANCE,
and now TAX INCREASES TO OFFSET THEIR INCOMPETENCE. This is what happens
when the Right, can't get their shit together and give us a viable alternative.

Longer Able to Defend Itself, The Liberals Dial 911 to the U.S.A.
OTTAWA - Dozens of Canadian military planners
will be based in Colorado under a controversial proposal to create a joint
team with the U.S. to protect North America from global terrorists
and respond to natural disasters. Canadian and U.S. military planners will
meet today to finalize details of a strategy that has raised fears in Canada
about the loss of sovereignty.(Never before
in Canadian history have we required a foreign military to defend and protect
us on our own soil. The Liberals have reduced the legacy of the men and
women who have died defending this country, to a legacy of little
importance. A government who's leaders have never even come close to military
training, a government who's members are embarrassingly ignorant of Canada's
past military accomplishments, a government that feels 'self defence' is
something you hire others to do for you, a government that has a history
of conscientious objectors (cowards),
and a government that 'will' leave ALL Canadians Ashamed and Defenceless
on their own soil. A government so self indulgent, that will stop at nothing,
to do nothing. (Read: A

PETA
= Promoting Ecological Terrorism Anywhere
Records show that People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, known
for its publicity stunts on behalf of animal rights, has given monetary
support to the Environmental Liberation Front. Last week, ELF admitted
to torching a Forest Service laboratory in Pennsylvania in August.
The blaze caused $700,000 in damage and destroyed 70 years of research.
In 1998, the group claimed responsibility for the fire on top of Vail,
which cost $12 million in damage. ELF members said they wanted to stop
expansion of the resort, which could further damage the habitat for
the endangered lynx.(This dysfunctional group of
tofu freaks also has Canadian tax exempt status and uses it to support
eco terrorist groups that will stop at little to promote their somewhat
twisted ideals. I wonder if they had even considered that the fire at the
Resort, could have burned out the endangered lynx habitat! Naw that would
have required a few brain cells, and these people are not known for their
intelligence. After all, no one has ever equated Tofu with 'Brain Food'
and this group is 'smart like potato')
Rock
faces a dilemma: Should he quit cabinet?
Frustrated that he is barred from campaigning for the Liberal leadership
while Paul Martin is free to build on his substantial lead, Mr. Rock, the
Industry Minister, has the option of quitting cabinet to try to catch up
before it is too late.(YES he
should quit cabinet! That way the man responsible for the largest waste
of money by ANY Cabinet Minister, will be unable to waste any more.
And, seeing that NO ONE in their right mind would elect this clown as 'leader',
the general population of Canada will benefit greatly from his absence.)
Navy
chief wants more resources
Vice-Adm. Buck's goal is to convince the government to replace the
navy's 30-year-old destroyers, get new refuelling and transport ships
and make sure that its secondhand submarines are kept up to date over the
long term. He said that without new investment, the Canadian navy will
no longer collaborate with foreign navies, but rather start depending on
them. However, the Chrétien government has given no indication of
a major cash boost to the Department of National Defence in the next budget.(Between
the 4 Billion wasted at the HRDC, and the current 1 Billion 'and climbing'
waste of the CFC being diverted from the Armed Forces. Canada is
well on it's way of being totally disarmed and internationally defenceless.
And we owe it ALL to the Liberal Party of Canada.)

The victim was killed early yesterday when two men in a van forced

began shooting, the cabbie said in an interview.

Act, is as the Justice Minister says, "Fantastic" (Look
up the word in the dictionary) It seems to have prevented the young
woman in this last story from being injured 'with a firearm'
I sure she appreciates how the law has saved her. The 'next of kin' of
the 'Other' three people in the stories above, should have no trouble
at all finding the killers by simply using firearm forensics along with
the "Amazing" firearms registry to track down the 'hunters or target shooters'
that are responsible for these crimes through their registered handguns.

New
bomb detector at airports
Coyles said that in five years the units will be at all Canadian
airports and will check 99% of the luggage on domestic and international
flights. Currently, luggage on international flights is checked with
stand-alone explosive detection machines, which look for bombs as
bags travel on a conveyor belt. Those $1-million machines are still in
boxes at Pearson airport. (If 'those' $1 million
dollar machines are still in boxes at Person airport, then they are obviously
NOT CHECKING ANYTHING are they? )

Mr Reitano said business so far had been brisk, but not overwhelming.
"I would like to say thousands but we've gotten several hundred orders

Chinese
minister secretly meets PM
OTTAWA - Jean Chrétien was criticized yesterday for
having a secret meeting with the Chinese Defence Minister, who was a military
chief of staff during the 1989 massacre at Tiananmen Square. The
Chinese military opened fire on hundreds of unarmed Chinese protesters
at Tiananmen Square in the spring of 1989. In a controversial 1996 visit
to Washington, Gen. Chi reportedly said no one died."I think it's extraordinary
that they would keep it secret and again it's a case where the government
opens its arms to Communist China, but slams the door on democratic Taiwan,"
Mr. Day said. "It's untenable. It makes us wonder if the friends
of relatives of Jean Chrétien, who have lucrative business in Communist
China, have more sway in the PMO than those who believe in democracy and
human rights." A spokesman for the Prime Minister would not comment
on why the meeting was not announced or whether Mr. Chrétien discussed
human rights.(Always quick to shake hands with 'other'
dictators and despots, our PM must truly lament the fact that 'he' will
never have the power and control over the masses that the criminals he
gleefully meets have. But he IS desperate to have all firearms registered,
which has always been the 'first' step in any dictatorial regime.)
Does
this mean I can sue Heinz for Errors in the FaRT Table?
Ontario can no longer justify an outright ban on contingency fees
for lawyers, the province's highest court has ruled in a landmark decision
expected to open courthouse doors for the middle class. Contingency fee
arrangements, in which lawyers are paid only in the event they win,
are not illegal in principle as long as they are fair and reasonable and
not driven by greedy lawyers with ulterior motives, the Ontario Court of
Appeal ruled yesterday.(Perhaps now, Ontario lawyers
will accept cases based on how likely they are to win, and not based on
how much they can squeeze from clients by stringing them along... No one
laughs at lawyer jokes anymore. Lawyers don't think there funny, and no
one else thinks there jokes!)
Chrétien
authorized shooting down airliner
OTTAWA (CP) - Jean Chrétien authorized U.S. fighter jets
to blow a suspect Korean passenger plane out of Canadian airspace last
Sept. 11 if necessary, the prime minister revealed in an interview with
CBC-TV that was to be aired Wednesday night. "Of course I would have
been responsible for killing 300 people," Chrétien said in an hour-long
documentary chronicling Ottawa's Sept. 11 response. "But it's better. You
have no choice." (Sure is better than letting the
pilot have a last line of defence in the cockpit with a firearm. As we
all know, introducing a firearm into a situation such as this, only increases
the the level of violence... Isn't it comforting to know, that he has set
a precedent. He 'would' have an airliner full of people shot down, rather
that allow the cockpit crew to be armed. This is the calibre of ASS that's
running this country! Do the Liberal's make YOU feel safer? I didn't think
so!)

they can hold a door open with it!
Since
1999, Hunting Licence Sales Have Dropped by 113,064 Licences
The liberal have spent $29,301,386
trying to get you to register your guns or give up hunting. Some provinces
seem to have taken the attitude "use it or loose it", and thumbing their
noses at the Government anti hunters, went out and said "screw them" I'm
going to start hunting again and licence sales have 'increased'.

Has
our Government's Attitude changed ?
NO!
- not one bit
Flipping through the T.V. Channels this morning,
there's Chrétien giving a speech in Newfoundland. A huge photo op,
and nothing more. This was the same man that didn't want to waste his time
visiting the WTC site, because he had a Liberal Fund Raiser to get back
to. The same man and party, that waited almost two weeks before acting
on 'anything'. The same man and party that has reduced our military to
international insignificance by choking off funding. The same man and party
that brags about Canadian Sovereignty while rendering our military virtually
impotent, and now dependant on the protection of foreign armed forces.
The Same Man and party that has turned our country into a 'elected' dictatorship.
The same man and party that puts PARTY First, and YOU Second. The same
Man and party that thinks the Canadian public is so stupid, they will be
elected for a forth term. Canadians should be thinking "Slap me ONCE shame
on you---Slap me for the second, third, & forth time, SHAME ON ME".
I just couldn't force myself to watch this opportunistic little weasel,
and switched to NBC. This is all I will post today.. Today should be a
day of reflection..)
Fliers,
not fighters(Globe)
Arming pilots is a bad idea bordering on recklessness. The
only thing that can explain why this has the support of so many sensible
people in the United States -- including a majority of pilots and federal
lawmakers -- is a culture that believes in the gun as a last line of defence.
Thankfully, Canadians tend to have no such faith. It is a defining difference
between our two nations and explains why there is no constitutional right
to bear arms here, and why Transport Minister David Collenette said guns
in the cockpit add more danger to flights. Perhaps Canadians know about
a 1993 study in The New England Journal of Medicine that found that a gun
in the home almost triples the likelihood that someone will be killed in
that house. And that more often than not the robber emerges alive.(This
is the biggest piece of hoplophobic drivel I have read in years, Not only
does it spout the thoroughly discredited New England Journal of Medicine
study that has doggedly drifted through gun control groups for years. But
unfortunately, Canadians onboard airliners commandeered by hijackers, flying
towards the inevitable crash into a nuclear facility, or being shot down
by F18's into a highly populated area. Can now be consoled by the
assurance of David Collenette that allowing the pilot to have a firearm
as a last line of defence, will only increase the level of violence. This
is the same type of narrow minded liberal thinking that tells a woman about
to be raped, not to resist or she may get hurt!)
Slain
gun instructor was quiet and gentle
Mike Hargreaves never once thought of leaving John Fullerton's side,
as his best friend lay motionless on a hospital bed. With only the rhythmic
beeps of a respirator machine to keep him company, Hargreaves held the
hand of the man he had affectionately called his son as he passed away.
"I held his hand for 12 hours and watched the monitor go from high numbers
to suddenly zero," he said. "John was my best friend. He was another one
of what I call my sons." Fullerton died Friday morning, a day after
he was shot in the back of the head with a sawed-off shotgun during an
armed robbery at the Vaughan gun shop where he worked.(The
government has passed laws to prevent workers from defending themselves
with a firearm, regardless of how well their trained. Employees of sporting
goods shops that also sell guns and ammunition are now being targeted by
criminals that know that employees are forbidden by law from arming themselves
for protection even though they may get murdered on the job. John Fullerton
did exactly what the law required him do do when confronted by armed attackers.
He complied, he did not provoke them, he did what he was told, and they
killed him anyway. "Water Water Everywhere And Not a Drop to Drink" has
never sounded more of an appropriate statement. Mr. Fullerton and his fellow
employees, surrounded by firearms, were forbidden on threat of imprisonment
to routinely arm themselves while on the job even though gunshops make
a highly obvious target for murdering criminals. This is the legacy of
the Liberal government. Never before has the slogan
"Disarmed = Defenceless = Dead
- It's the Law!"
hit home to Canadians as it does now! Please
be sure to point this out,

Where
There Are Guns, There Are Suicides: STUDY DISCREDITED
Maybe Ms. McCook didn’t do her homework very well, or maybe Tuesday
was just a slow news day, but Ms. McCook chose to focus her venomous
anti-gun glee on a study that was first published six months ago in the
February, 2002 issue of the Journal of Trauma. Additionally, the stridently
anti-freedom Violence Policy Center (VPC) has already ballyhooed this piece
of anti-scientific junk as verification of their alleged “righteous cause”
– to rid the country of the scourge of self-defense. In other words, Ms.
McCook – this is old news. But not only is it old news, it’s also discredited
old news.(Virtually EVERY study put forward by gun
control groups in the last 50 years has been discredited, from the 'guns
cause suicide' to the ridiculous 'a gun is 42 times (or 50 or 60, depends
on who's spouting this garbage) more likely to injure the owner than the
criminal' and the all time greatest lie "Guns Cause Crime" They ALL know
these studies are bogus, but they keep trotting them out hoping to discover
a new flock of the 'uneducated ignorant' to jump on the bandwagon

Inventor
of Uzi Submachine Gun Dies of Cancer
JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Uziel Gal, the inventor of the Uzi submachinegun
used in countless wars, commando missions and action films, has died
of cancer at the age of 78. Gal's family said the Israeli gunsmith died
Saturday in the United States, where he had lived in relative obscurity
for a quarter of a century after inventing the Uzi to help defend the fledgling
Jewish state against its Arab neighbors.(And a very
good job it does too!!)

Firearms Act 'Still' creating a "Culture of Safety"
A man was killed after a drive-by shooting in north-end Etobicoke
last night. The man was gunned down as he stood with friends along Finch
Ave. W., just east of Islington Ave., about 9 p.m. He was dead on
arrival at St. Mike's hospital. (The Liberal gun
control fiasco, ONLY takes guns from the hands of hunters and sportsmen.
The criminals will ALWAYS remain armed.. Too bad you won't be.. Feel safer?
I didn't think so.. Don't forget to thank a Liberal.)
Military
on verge of collapse - report
Broad
group accuses Liberals of 'neglect of duty'
"For Canada not to have started to address the purpose, nature and
configuration of its defence and security establishment in a coherent,
co-ordinated and comprehensive way one full year after September 11 --
the single most catastrophic security event on North American soil in the
history of either North American nation -- can no longer be qualified as
'benign.' It is neglect of duty," the group says in its 39-page report.
"It is difficult to resist the conclusion that Canada's leaders appear
more interested in their internecine struggles for control of the
governing party than in the long-term security of their citizens. That
the government is, at a bare minimum, completely disinterested in its men
and women in uniform, there can be no doubt."(No
Doubt at all)
Will
the government defend Canada?
Canada is at war and subject to terrorist attacks just
as much as the United States. Indeed, every democratic, secular and pluralist
nation is at risk of assault from fundamentalists, and countries such as
Britain and Australia have changed their defence policies to take this
into account. Not Canada. Here, the Department of National Defence is
running a "defence update" with a sham public consultation. Here, the Finance
Minister explicitly states that there will be no new money for defence
in the next budget. Here, the Prime Minister and Paul Martin, his leading
challenger, have absolutely no interest in the Canadian Forces.(The
Liberals are clearly waiting for large numbers of people to be killed in
a terrorist attack on Canadian Soil. Only then, will they do too little
too late. This entire government is a danger to Canadian Sovereignty..
If you can't protect what's yours, it will be taken from you. If it were
not for the protection of this country by the United States, this entire
group of pansy assed politicians would simply hand over the keys to any
invading army. As long as Canadians are unable to defend this country,
thanks to the Liberals, Canadian Sovereignty is nothing but a bullshit
myth)
Looking
back on our timid response to 9/11
Looking back, it was not the lack of a sense of right and wrong
that was so offensive in the behaviour of the Chrétien government,
but its timidity. Like the cops and firefighters who entered the stricken
towers before they collapsed, this was a time to volunteer. A volunteer
walks into a situation he did not choose, and does what he can to improve
matters. There are risks in volunteering. To avoid them, the Chrétien
government also avoided its responsibility. No wonder so many Canadians
were ashamed.(AND CONTINUE TO BE ASHAMED)
Canadian
pilots flying to U.S. may have to carry cockpit guns
CALGARY -- Handguns will be installed in the cockpits of U.S. commercial
airliners in the near future, leaving open the possibility that Canadian
pilots flying into the United States will be required to arm themselves,
the head of the world's largest airline said yesterday. In Ottawa, Transport
Minister David Collenette yesterday insisted that Canada will not
allow pilots to start carrying weapons, saying they add a "new element
of danger" on flights.(This is the common sense of
the party that also calls the firearms act "Fantastic".. No doubt, the
danger and threat presented by a hijacker on board a airliner, filled with
people, headed towards a nuclear power plant, about to be shot down over
a highly populated area, would be severely increased by allowing the pilot
to be armed with a hand gun... What the hell does this man eat for breakfast?
Idiot Flakes?)
If
you wait for proof, you're dead
Even while conceding that Mr. Hussein is a menace, Ottawa hesitates
at backing any pre-emptive action against him until he actually acquires
the world's deadliest weapons and prepares to use them. Do we know for
sure that Saddam Hussein has weapons of mass destruction? No. Do we know
for sure that he would use them? No again. All we know is that he is a
ruthless dictator who has tried for years to acquire the word's deadliest
weapons and has shown no hesitation in using them when he does. Definitive
proof will come only when a mushroom cloud rises above Tel Aviv or Washington.
Do we wait until then, Mr. Chrétien?(The problem
is, our government consists of a bunch of 'military know-nothings'.
Their very ignorance of military history and tactics is a major, on-going,
embarrassment for ALL Canadians. Spending even 2 seconds in consideration
if the U.S. Government worries about what this bunch of political
clowns actually 'thinks' is a severe waste of your time. Our Liberal
government is a defenceless JOKE that tripped, and fell ass over tea kettle
from the world stage years ago.)
Employee
shot as gang seizes 75 guns
"For
the SECOND Time, ONLY the Criminals were armed"
A massive manhunt is under way after as many as six masked
suspects tore through a Vaughan sporting goods store, smashing glass display
cases, stealing 75 handguns, then shooting an employee in the head before
fleeing the scene in a brazen morning robbery. Ontario Sporting Supplies
employee John Fullerton was rushed to Sunnybrook hospital after the
shooting yesterday morning and immediately taken into surgery. The 39-year-old,
who was well-known in the gun community, was listed in critical condition.(John
Fullerton has since died. John was a well known IPSC shooter in the
area, and like IPSC
shooters all over the world, more than qualified to carry a loaded
firearm ANYWHERE!! This man is dead, because OUR GOVERNMENT has decreed
that ONLY the criminals be armed. I can think of no more obvious place
for a employee to be armed. Our Government will allow some half trained
kid to carry a firearm in order to protect his life, and a truck full of
money, but deny a well trained individual the necessary ability to defend
not only his own life, but also the many lives that will now doubt be taken
by these stolen firearms.. There were THREE employees in the shop, if ANY
ONE of them had been armed, the chances are VERY good that John Fullerton
would still be alive and 75-80 handguns would have been protected. There
is very little doubt, that the murderers that killed John and stole the
guns, had at one time been in the shop to 'case' the place. If at that
time, they had seen SEVERAL ARMED EMPLOYEES, it's highly unlikely this
crime would have happened. A IPSC shooter, is trained to 'safely'
and 'quickly' draw his firearm and place ten shots, two at a time, in several
targets at close range under varying, difficult and 'timed' situations.
In just about all cases, he or she is better trained in close quarters
and fast action than the average police officer on the street. There is
NO-WAY this robbery and unnecessary death would have occurred had these
well trained employees been allowed to carry their firearms while on the
job. Now the word is out for the punks and criminals. Gunshop employees
are not allowed to have loaded firearms, or even the chance to defend
themselves. Guns are Government Confirmed easy pickings for 'armed'
criminals. It would not surprise me in the slightest, that gun shop
employees are going to make sure they have the means to defend themselves
and prevent 'government sanctioned armed criminals' from attempting something
like this again. I have never met a front line police officer that agrees
with C68, and I'm just as sure a "Don't ask - Don't tell" atmosphere will
exist from now on. I 'may' be wrong, but I certainly hope not, there are
lives at stake and our criminal coddling liberal government is of no help
at all.)
Manley:"We
are not going into deficit to build the Armed Forces or to build anything
else"
Despite repeated calls by the U.S. administration and Canadian military
analysts for Ottawa to increase defence spending, Mr. Manley said he is
not willing to risk the government's shrinking surplus with a large infusion
of cash for the military. The Chrétien government has heard repeated
concerns -- from groups as wide-ranging as the C. D. Howe Institute to
the Commons defence committee -- that the national military is so underfunded
that Canada is virtually defenceless. There have been several calls for
Ottawa to increase the Canadian Forces budget by an extra $2-billion to
$4-billion over the existing $12-billion it now spends each year.(What's
pushing this government into ANOTHER Liberal deficit is the incredible
waste they are responsible for. BILLIONS wasted on harebrained schemes
such as the HRDC, and the incredibly stupid, ongoing farce called the "Canadian
Firearms Centre" .. Help them out, when 'Re-Registering' a Previously Registered
handgun (its free!) Use your best 'scrawl' to fill out the form, and see
how many mistakes it comes back with! If registering on-line, (its free)
the serial number for your firearm will be obvious. 'REMEMBER' most old
22's that are devoid of serial numbers, may also have a numbers like .22-S-L-LR-.
'Firearm verification' is still a requirement of the law although they
don't push for it because of 'lack of funds', it's STILL the law..
so unless you are a firearms expert with access to the current(ha..ha..ha..)
FaRT table, it's best to just type the words 'Unknown' for most of
the entries to protect yourself from frivolous harassment by the CFC. Remember,
because 'firearms verifiers' are almost extinct, they can't prosecute you
for failing to comply with any part of the law that 'THEY THEMSELVES' are
hindering your access to. )
Canadian,
16, held as al-Qaida killer
A 16-year-old Canadian youth, reportedly tied to al-Qaida, is being
held in Afghanistan for the murder of a U.S. Special Forces medic,
intelligence sources tell WorldNetDaily. Reports also said the Toronto-born
youth was badly injured in action that resulted in the death of the U.S.
soldier, and that he is being held at U.S. military headquarters in Bagram,
north of the capital city of Kabul. Sources said the Canadian government
is pressuring Washington for the return of its citizen, while the U.S.
government is investigating the death of the Special Forces medic as a
potential capital crime. (Leave the little bastard
in American hands. If the Canadian government gets him he will be tried,
and if found guilty, be sent to prison for all of 10 years or so..but not
likely, this punk would only be another Young offender ) Then, be put back
on the street to kill maybe thousands the next time.. Kid, as far as I
am concerned, if your looking for sympathy it can be found in the dictionary
somewhere between shit and syphilis)
This
Rapist will be back in 5 years!
"It must have been an absolutely nightmarish experience for the
victim," said provincial court Judge Percy Marshall. "Hearing all these
details of the horrible things that happened, really, it's almost unbelievable."
Court was told Mr. Burwell threatened to slit her throat, raped her in
a park and in the back yard of a neighbourhood home, and threatened to
beat her roommates with a nail-studded piece of lumber if she didn't
follow orders.(Now, if this woman, or her roomate
had a handgun, proper firearms training, and the will to value her life
above that of her attacker's, this horrible experience could have been
avoided entirely. Thanks to Liberals putting the safety of the Criminal
first, she was denied the opportunity to prevent her ordeal, and
the future ordeal of other women at the hands of this man 5 years
from now when he's back on the street. Feel Safer? Thank a Liberal !)
Make
pot legal: Senate panel
OTTAWA — Canadians over 16 should be allowed to smoke marijuana,
a Senate committee recommended yesterday. In it report, the bipartisan
committee called for a national drug strategy that would allow Canadians
to smoke marijuana earlier than they are allowed to drink alcohol.
(Well,
lets see!! In Ontario, you have to be 19 to buy cigarettes, 19 to buy and
drink booze, and now they want to make it '16' to get high on pot! This
makes as much sense as C68 (which reads as if it were written at
a liberal pot party).. I can see 'decriminalizing' it, and making
it fully legal for medical use, but it's obvious they were passing a joint
around while making this decision. There's no other explanation for it
! What are the chances of this being made onto law? ZERO.. The U.S.A. would
not allow it. Other than our ridiculous gun control laws, and practically
worthless money, we ARE the 51st State)
Nugent
offers space-reject Bass, hunting lessons
NEW YORK (AP) — Why would Lance Bass want to go into space, when
he could be home on the range with Ted Nugent? But for just $1 million,
Nugent has offered to have the boy band member over to his Michigan ranch
to teach him bow-hunting skills. The guitarist and outdoorsman said Bass
could then join him on a weeklong hunt, "where he'll be taught a greater
appreciation for nature and gravity as he hunts, kills, cleans and cooks
for himself." Bass needs to quit worrying about going
into outer space and embrace and celebrate life by learning how to kill
his own food," Nugent said Tuesday. "A slab of flesh on the back of a deer
is the finest source of protein on the planet."(And
who knows!, it might even make a 'Man' out the the 'Boy')
CRIME:
Guns save lives
Robey, 46, told authorities he had ordered room service at the hotel.
When Robey answered a knock on his door, two intruders met him and demanded
money. When Robey refused, they barged into the room, the Fort Myers News-Press
reported. One pointed a gun at Robey's head. The other dragged Robey's daughter
to the bathroom. But Robey got a .45-caliber pistol from under his pillow
and shot both men, killing one and critically injuring the other.(Same
scenario in Canada, would have resulted in death for both the man and his
daughter, or a beating and robbery for him, and his daughter would have
been raped. Had he shot them to protect his daughter and himself, he would
have been arrested and charged for several firearms offences, arrested
for murder (but probably acquitted later), and sued by the survivor for
injuring him with a illegal handgun.. In Canada, your:
"Disarmed - Defenceless - Dead - It's the
Law")
If
this was in Canada and NOT Alaska,, He would be Dead!
"(The bear) was five feet away when (Garen) got that first shot
off," Kalen said. "That's how fast it was coming." That Garen hit
the fast-moving bear with his handgun was fortunate, he admits. That one
of the 9 mm, full-metal-jacket bullets -- woefully inadequate for stopping
a charging brown bear -- happened to slam into the socket of the bear's
front shoulder might almost be considered a miracle. That bullet blew up
the shoulder. The bear went down, rolled over and spun. Garen kept shooting,
now joined by Kalen. They estimated they fired at least seven shots.
"I pointed my gun at its head and shot three or more times," Garen said.(If
you work in the Canadian wilderness, you can apply for a permit to carry
a handgun. The favourite is a 44 Magnum. Sure it's heavy, but the guys
that carry them tell me that once your busy doing your job, they don't
really notice the bulk and weight. And quite frankly, I would rather be
a bit uncomfortable then dead. But, if you like the guys in the story above,
you can't be armed with a handgun, because your only fishing, and not working..
(Duh!) You are legislated by the city dwelling liberals to be "Disarmed
- Defenceless - Dead - its the Law")>
Dodge
tells Liberals to stay off the runaway train of spending
His comments came amid speculation that Jean Chrétien plans
a social policy spending spree in his final months in power. Figures yesterday
from the Finance Department show the tenuous state of the federal budget
surplus. Although in June alone it rose to $4-billion from $2.8-billion
a year earlier, it fell by fully half, to $4.8-billion from $9.6-billion,
when measured over the first quarter of this fiscal year.(Jean
the Weasel will NOT be happy until he leaves office with the same legacy
that Trudeau did. Massive Debt. Half the budget surplus is now gone.. Squandered
on unrealistic programs such as the fiasco of Liberal gun control, The
incredible waste of HRDC, and patronage spending to all of his supporters
and 'their' lamebrain ideas and wacky personal goals. What's left (Pun
intended) ? Raising taxes.. If the Liberals return to power at the
next election, look for MAJOR tax increases to fund the intrusive and hidden
social engineering plans they have yet to reveal. Think back to the
last election! Which party 'truly' had the "Hidden Agenda".. )
Major
Understatement: Canada's defence spending too low, U.S. says
The Liberal government delivered a security budget last December
that boosted defence spending by a modest $1.2-billion over five
years. Critics, including an all-party Commons committee and the Auditor-General,
have argued the Armed Forces need at least $1-billion more annually
on their $11.2-billion budget.(Our government
thinks it's much more important to reduce Canada's defence ability from
within. They have spent a BILLION DOLLARS in the ongoing attempt
to disarm you, and further render this country impotent on the world stage.
Feel Proud? I didn't think so and 62% of Canadians Agree.. Check out the
Globe Poll on this subject here)
Ever
Wonder How Much A Grenade Costs? Ans. $245.00ea.
The fragmentation grenades, acquired in 1998 to protect Canada's
armoured vehicles from ambushes, were intended to be a cost-effective battlefield
solution. But the devices have been stuck in storage out of fears that
they can become unstable during normal field use, posing a threat to the
very troops they're designed to protect. And with a 10-year shelf life,
the 76 mm grenades have lost almost half their service life -- leaving
the army pressed to come up with a solution quickly. The military paid
$753,130 for 3,074 of the weapons, intended to be fired from tubes on Canada's
Coyote and LAV III armoured vehicles. The grenades explode into fragments
that can kill large numbers of attacking enemy soldiers. But the army soon
determined the shock and vibration from normal field use during patrols
could cause misfires or inadvertent ignition. Reinsertion of the grenades'
safety pins after a patrol could cause other problems, and electromagnetic
waves could accidentally ignite them.(Reminds me
of the old joke: What do you do if a Blonde throws a 'pin' at you? Run
Like Hell... She's got a grenade in her mouth!! I'll bet the decision on
the purchase of these little 'time bombs' was made by a liberal bureaucrat
with no military experience. Which come to think of it, could be
'any of them' )
Tourists
shocked as grizzly shot in Yukon
Nancy Durrant and her brother had come from southern Ontario, but
not to see a grizzly killed before their eyes. Driving through Tombstone
Park along the Dempster Highway north of Dawson City, they saw the bear
and grabbed their video camera. Durrant was horrified at what happened
next, because "you don't expect to see something shot," especially
in a park. "You want to think that the northern areas are trying
to protect their wildlife," she said. (Hey! How often
do you get a video of a someone ' taking down a Grizzly Bear.. I hope someone
told this poor, offended little yuppy, that she's not in Toronto anymore.
Just because you can't hunt the more vicious type of animal walking down
Yonge Street, don't expect the rest of the world to conform to 'your'
unrealistic standards.. Besides, Parks & Hunters DO protect 'endangered'
animals, what has she done lately for wildlife conservation besides "being
offended" by a perfectly legal action that she doesn't agree with.. Perhaps
now she will do everyone a favour, and stay in Toronto where I'm
sure no one will offend her! )
Because
The Canadian Government Assures Only the Criminal is Armed
In North America, a car is stolen every 23 seconds, a violent
crime is committed every 19 seconds and a rape
occurs every six minutes.(If the criminal
KNOWS you are defenceless, you WILL be a victim, 100% guaranteed. The gun
control freaks in this country say that the necessity of arming for self
defence is a myth. They firmly believe that calling 911 will save their
asses. THAT is the myth.
Ask any woman who has ever been raped, or any man confronted by a bunch
of punks looking for drug money if they had time to whip out their cellphone
(if they had one), and dial 911, would it have saved them from injury?
Had they reached under their coats, or into their purses and pulled out
a handgun, would they have still been in as much danger? Not likely, criminal
are cowards always looking for the easy pickings. And, thanks to the Canadian
Government YOU are the easy pickings their looking for. And it's ALWAYS
reassuring to know that Canadian Police are not even legally required to
show up when you call 911. I have never, ever, met anyone, man or woman,
that has put down the 357 magnum, and walked away from the target full
of holes 'without' a HUGE smile on their face. It many cases it was the
first time in their entire life they ever felt 'truly' empowered. THAT'S
why you never hear the term "Armed Victim".. Any criminal worth his salt
is also worth 180 gr. of lead if your lifes in danger.. Think about
it!)
Defence
Minister ignorant of Dieppe:
Duane Daly, the dominion secretary for the Royal Canadian Legion,
was saddened by the Defence Minister's Ignorance. "It's really unfortunate,"
he said yesterday. "But it's not just McCallum: It's all MPs and Cabinet
ministers. So few have any military experience or even knowledge of our
history. "Mr. Daly said the ignorance of Canada's leaders reflects broad
and long-standing flaws in the teaching of history in Canadian schools,
but wished Mr. McCallum well in his "crash course" on military history.
Leon Benoit, the Canadian Alliance defence critic, said Mr. McCallum's
ignorance of things military is in character for the entire federal Cabinet.
"This government shies away from things military," he said. "They feel
uncomfortable talking about anything to do with the military, particularly
the combat capabilities of our military. "So I'm not surprised."(Sad
but true.. Canada's school system only touches on the two great wars. Probably
one of the reasons that unlike the U.S.A. Canadian children have no feeling
of patriotism. Like many other flawed government plans, teaching children
about the horrors of war does NOT promote a warlike attitude. Our school
system has long promoted the theory of "Keep em Ignorant, Keep em Safe",
and NO other single theory has created more misery than that one! What
amazes me the most, is our 'Liberal' defence Minister 'remained' ignorant
for most of his adult life, and there is NO excuse for THAT)
Canada
is seventh least corrupt 'nation'
Canada placed seventh in the 102-nation survey conducted byBerlin-based
Transparency International, a non-government agency that has been monitoring
perceived levels of corruption since 1993.(The 'key'word
here is "Nation" NOT Government. It's not likely our government
would fair well, if the poll had focused on the "least corrupt 'elected'
government" We've never had a government as corrupt as this one, and their
just 'starting' to scratch the patronage surface. I have faith in the Liberal
party. They 'will' drive that number much higher before their gone.)
