| There are two lighthouses at the south end of Long Beach Peninsula and near Fort Canby. This is a view south from the road to North Head Lighthouse. The other is Cape Disappointment Lighthouse built in 1856. The south end of the peninsula is on the north side of the mouth of the Columbia River. |

| A great rocky beach at Cape Meares, Oregon, just south of Tillamook which is Oregon's cheese capital. |

| Great view of this cliff eh? There is a hiking path out to Cape Meares Lighthouse. This was taken from that path. It was a pleasant walk. |

| Further down the coast, this is just south of Oceanside. A cliff used by hang and para-gliders. Since I'm dying to try this out I had to stop and watch. The hang glider fella couldn't get off the cliff but the para-glider, needing less wind, got off nicely. And what a great ride he had. Wow..I was hooked. |
