After the descent from Glacier Point to Illilouette Creek and then regaining some altitude I arrive at the top of Nevada Falls.  A popular day hike from the bottom of Yosemite Valley and obviously a popular place for deer to check out the humans.
The viewpoints at Nevada Falls are very close to the falls making it difficult to get pictures of anything but rushing water.  This one - of rushing water - is taken from the bridge across the top of the falls and looking down into Yosemite Valley.  It is quite beautiful.

A pleasant place to stop for lunch before continuing up the rushing creek toward Little Yosemite Valley campground.
After a lunch at Nevada Falls the trail continues up the creek toward Little Yosemite Campground.  There are many pretty spots like this one to stop and enjoy the creek.
After a night in the campground I returned to Glacier Point via the same route.  Hence the last couple of miles are a bit of a "grunt".  This snag was a pleasant site.  I just recently learned what a snag is...a dead tree.  It is the only place the spotted owl will nest I gather.
