| The Kindergarten did a special salute to America presentation for the PTA on Feb 19th. They sang 5 patriotic songs including "God Bless America" and "You're a Grand Old Flag". They did a GREAT job! Myryha is in a blue shirt, second from the right, top row. |

| Did we mention she'll ride just about any kind of critter you can cinch a saddle on? Here she is at Six Flags Over Texas, with a very patient Longhorn Steer named Lucky. This makes 3 mules, 4 horses, 5 donkeys, a llama, and a longhorn that she's ridden so far. Whoops, forgot the elephant. Twice. |
| She's decided to become a marksman, too. She is only allowed to shoot rifle, supervised, and only after she has recited her gun safety rules. Teach your kids to respect guns and how to handle them properly. |
| Myryha's GUN SAFETY RULES: If you see a gun anywhere, don't pick it up, don't touch it. Tell a grownup you see a gun. If someone tries to hand you a gun, don't touch it, don't pick it up, run and tell a grownup that someone has a gun. If you are shooting and you pick up your gun, the first thing to do is check to make sure there are no bullets in it. Only put your finger on the trigger when you are ready to shoot. We don't point guns at people, we don't point guns at cars, or animals or houses. Guns are not toys. Guns are dangerous. Guns can hurt people. Guns can kill people. |
