| Myryha, age 5, on our spanish-type BLM Mustang gelding, Crackers. He's 22 this year! In his younger days, Crackers was trained as a hunter pony by his original owner, Julie Marie. We helped break Crackers in fresh off the range, and bought him when she went on to college. Like our other old and devoted friends, he'll have a home with us for life. He's mellowed in his old age, and it a gerat lead-line pony for kids, but Chris or Michael Loren (my brother) can still hop on him with just a halter and take a ride across the pasture. |

| Myryha, the Wind, with Myryha Sioban. The mare is our (gulp, 22 this year) BLM Mustang, with Myryha our daughter when she was 3. Yes, the daughter is named after the horse. "Pink Horse" was featured along with our whole family at her adoption by the then nation-wide show PM Magazine with Leeza Gibbons. She is trained English and Western, has jumped and done a little dressage, but now she's mosly retired and enjoying being a semi-wild Mustang again. |
