Victoria's latest UK Top 5 smash is a double A side called  Let Your Head Go/This Groove.
The video for Let Your Head Go is HILARIOUS and makes one wonder why Victoria doesn't do comedy?
Victoria Beckham
Victoria right now is the Spice Girl who has the dubious distinction of being the most famous--but the most hated in the UK.  I don't know what the UK 's problem is.  She's sweet, funny, always looks flawless, and has come out with some fab pop songs. I'm thinking that it has to do with her marriage to David Beckham who is a soccer star in the UK (but in the rest of world is Mr Posh Spice), and people see her as a Yoko Ono type figure.

So, her solo career has not met with the success it deserves.  Her album "Victoria Beckham" has great pop songs and people who actually take the time to listen to it are suprised at how good it is.  However, when released, sales were low.  The press and public at large pounced on Victoria--much like the panther on the cover!  It also was released at the worst time ever--the same week as Kylie Minogues international smash "Fever".

Only two singles were released, "Not Such an Innocent Girl" and "Mind of Its Own".
A third single ("I Wish") was planned and remixed as a duet with Craig David but was later abondoned.  It did appear however on the "Bend it Like Beckham" Soundtrack.

This is a good, cruelly unerlooked and underated pop album.
Out of Your Mind is Victoria's best solo single (followed closely by Let Your Head Go).  When put through the demo runs to various radio stations no one said it was Victoria singing.  DJs liked the song and were then shocked to find that the fab female voice was Victoria's!  It would've been cool if Victoria stuck to this sound as it fits her vocie and style.

The song debuted at #2 after a fierce "media battle" with Sophie Ellis-Bextor's single "If This Ain't Love".  Both singles sold well over 100,000 copies so both were successes in this sense.
