My car in the very early stages of tear down (~1990).
The body was in good shape with no real rot. The vinyl roof was torn
off but all moldings were intact. The car was painted a crapy brown
color with a gold shade of paint on the roof with Chevelle type stripes.
I actually striped this completely off with a razor blade. It took
a long time and lots of hours over the years when I had money. Couldn't
have done it without my friends Pat, Curt. Especially my father who
taught me most of what I know and who was always there when I needed a
hand (and the garage to for 10 years)!!! |
This is my car in the paint booth (~1992).
It was painted by a friend Bruno at a body shop he worked at. He
has given me lots of tips on bodywork and painting. |

Here is a shot of my 12-Bolt rear (3.42's)
that I just recently put Polygraphite bushings in to try and keep the rear
in place when the hammer is down. The lower control arms are factory
boxed and I had a plate welded into the top
arms to effectively "box" them also. You can also see a shot
of the airbags in the coil.

Here are two shots of
my engine bay. One pic shows my Demon carb I put on this year.
After a few problems that had to be fixed by Demon themselves, it seems
to be running better. I still haven't dialed the carb in 100% yet
but it runs better and cleaner than the old Holley. |

My car at an area show. This is mostly
for fun and can get boring pretty quick. It is a good place to park
and check out what everybody else is doing. |
