The PCs went first to inquire about a lead lined box to put the coin in. They figured that the Wizard that ambushed them earlier in the week had to know they had the coin somehow and perhaps a lead lining will prevent others from knowing they have it. After commissioning the work, they PCs then went and did some basic shopping. They found an Alchemist who was selling very expensive but very useful items. They also saw a struggle between a very pretty elfin girl and a weapon smith.
When the shopping was complete, Rykasha went into the drivers guild to see if she could find out some more information about the claim stub that she had found on Razi’s body. They were given an address of where razi was going to be dropped off, but were also informed that Razi didn’t make it into the city.
The PCs went to the address and talked to Razi’s drunk nephew who said implied that the business was ruined. The nephew then threw a tantrum and the PCs left to come back tomorrow. The next day they picked up the lead box and put the coin in the box. Xiong Tai put the wizard’s amulet in her pocket. The PCs then went back to the nephew’s house and were admitted to see him and his father. Through a series of negotiations, the PCs chose to finish the delivery for 450gp. They took a guard from Razi’s business with them to deliver the goods.
When the arrived at the noble’s house where the delivery was supposed to be, they found that he was in the middle of having a party. The PCs attempted to speak with him, but his snooty manservant wouldn’t allow it. Killian attempted to charm the man, but the spell didn’t hold. Now angered he asked them to leave. They instead left a message with the manservant saying that the statue has magical properties and that he should be wary. They asked that the noble contact them as soon as possible.
With the remaining daylight, they chose to head to the castle to get a better look at it. They purchased a guided tour with a bard and proceeded to enter the castle.
